Great little place to try something different! Reasonably priced and tasty. We'd never had Sri Lankan food before and were helped with some recommendations. The chicken rolls entrée were delicious! Then we had hoppers with beef curry; and a creamy prawn and calamari Kottu. It was so good we ordered too much and had some for takeaway too. The drinks were also unique, refreshing and yummy! The only issue is the ventilation, as the chef is busy cooking right behind us, so the restaurant filled with smoke and everyone started coughing. Once they opened the front door it was a bit better. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of street parking around too.

We had a fantastic dining experience, with great service, a very authentic Sri Lankan menu. Egg hoppers, biryani and more. Byo only, so buy before you get they're, the bottle shop is close. Very well priced.

Highlights were Milk Hopper, Chicken Kothu Roti and Daal that accompanied the dosa. The dosa itself was big let doen, drenched in oil and undercooked, it should not have left the kitchen.

Dish: Sri Lankan Street Food in Glebe is an absolute standout. The moment you walk in, you’re swept up in a colourful, spice-filled atmosphere that instantly transports you to the streets of Colombo. The food is vibrant and authentic—every dish layered with depth and spice. Highlights include the barramundi ambulthiyal wrapped in banana leaf, the melt-in-your-mouth goat curry, and the short-rib biryani that’s a true showstopper.

What makes the experience even more memorable is the service. Our waitress, Ravini, was wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food she was serving. She guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, making thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Her hospitality made us feel right at home and elevated the entire experience.

Dish feels so authentic, alive, and buzzing with energy. Combine that with bold, flavour-packed dishes and exceptional service, and you’ve got one of the most exciting dining experiences in Sydney.

Highly recommended—ask for Ravini if you can, she’ll make your night...

I love the staff here, the decor and the taste of the food. They gave us our own private room to dine in.

I can recommend 1 improvement.

It is to put less chilli in the dishes (or to warn the customers of the amount of chilli beforehand). Expect the dishes to be firing hot. I love chilli, but even this was way too much! I was crying as I was tasting the curries.

I really love this place. Highly recommend you to give this place a try, especially if you...
