Dish: Sri Lankan Street Food in Glebe is an absolute standout. The moment you walk in, you’re swept up in a colourful, spice-filled atmosphere that instantly transports you to the streets of Colombo. The food is vibrant and authentic—every dish layered with depth and spice. Highlights include the barramundi ambulthiyal wrapped in banana leaf, the melt-in-your-mouth goat curry, and the short-rib biryani that’s a true showstopper.
What makes the experience even more memorable is the service. Our waitress, Ravini, was wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food she was serving. She guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, making thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Her hospitality made us feel right at home and elevated the entire experience.
Dish feels so authentic, alive, and buzzing with energy. Combine that with bold, flavour-packed dishes and exceptional service, and you’ve got one of the most exciting dining experiences in Sydney.
Highly recommended—ask for Ravini if you can, she’ll make your night...

I can recommend 1 improvement.
It is to put less chilli in the dishes (or to warn the customers of the amount of chilli beforehand). Expect the dishes to be firing hot. I love chilli, but even this was way too much! I was crying as I was tasting the curries.
I really love this place. Highly recommend you to give this place a try, especially if you...
