Our group of sixty eight England Rugby League supporters from Hull the UK City of Culture 2017, taking time out from the RL World Cup Tour , embarked on a treat cruising aboard the26 metre long luxury catamaran Harbour Spirit.

Canapés on arrival with a free flowing bar with a great selection of beers and wines got the party started.

Site seeing in awe on the open decks, taking in the Sydney Opera House and Harbour bridge, with the City skyline lighting up as dusk approached , sipping the Sundowners was very pleasant in deed.

The in house team had dressed the vessel dining area to perfection, providing a freshly prepared fabulous five star standard hot and cold buffet with a selection of desserts to “die for ”.

Darkness fell with the harbour sites lighting up and reflecting on the water, a photographers dream Vista with cameras flashing and fantastic memories being made with a such a panoramic backdrop.

The meal was enjoyed in the air conditioned restaurant and the high standard praised , with applause to the Chef and his team.

The drinks freely flowed from the bar, copious amounts, and the disco party with the resident DJ had everyone dancing and joining in with the beloved Hull RL Clubs anthems.

Guests sang, we danced and got the boat rocking. It was a great night enjoyed by our group and the crew.

The Captain and DJ commented that in all of his twenty three years of operating he had not had such a night were a group happily engaged his team and partied like a New Years eve.

It was a fantastic experience and great value, this Cruise is highly recommended , when in Sydney its a must !

This is my 2nd cruise on the Harbour Spirit in 2 months one lunchtime and a night cruise (Aust day) and both times i have not been disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed both times. The Bar staff were tremendously kind and polite, very accommodating and served everyone with such professionalism, The MC made sure everyone was fed and kept updating when the food was ready which could be heard outside the boat while enjoying yourself or even coming up top and making sure everyones eaten, Hat's off to the skipper for being so relaxed and letting everyone just enjoy themselves. Everyone was so well behaved and just wanted to dance away and mingle and be happy. The DJ was awesome you can request songs and he played to the crowd which was very considerate and made this a very memorable cruise, hats off to the DJ for sure :). Hats also off to the Chef thank you for the yummy food and your preparation, we certainly left happy. Also the onboarding staff were very friendly and welcoming on the boat and kept the boat tidy and clean, clearing tables, passing out food very helpful. HS staff were all awesome and thats what you need. Overall i recommend Harbour Spirit for your day or/and night time fun with friends family or work colleagues. Price was very reasonable well worth it. I'll be back for more cruising for sure and bringing more famz and friendz. Thanks for awesome cruising...

I did a Vivid cruise purchased through Scoopon last night. We had a group of 13. Maybe, if it had been fine weather, it may have been pleasant. We stood in the rain for 30 minutes (there was no cover at Casino Wharf where we boarded). By the time we got on, all tables were taken. Four of us were lucky enough to get seats at the end of a table, most of the rest of the group had seating on chairs set out in bench rows, some had no choice but to stand for the entire 2 hours. So wet and separated we tried to enjoy the cruise. Maybe, if the weather was good, more people would have been on the decks (no seating there either). The staff seemed stressed, the music was loud (so trying to communicate with a friend who was 4 seats up the bench was impossible) and the windows were so foggy you couldn’t see out anyway (not that most of us could get close to any windows due to the seating arrangement). Food was actually pretty good for a cruise buffet. Bar staff were friendly too. No way I’ll do a Vivid cruise with this company again though. Being crammed in like this for 2 hours was not fun at all. I feel that there were too many tickets sold for this cruise for it to be a pleasant experience for anyone on board.
