Came here on wednesday A few people before us were waiting longer than 30mins the commitment damn... but was given unfortunate news that there would be a longer wait of 30mins for the chicken, and aksed for something and more longer wait they ended up just getting chips and tabouli. The disappointment on their faces and the wait to be told that. Came here to order shwarma roll no longer make them. Also waited at order section for 20mins had to stop a worker and ask for help as they're working everywhere who said two mins and never came back and the poor staff member was in distress going to every section of the place. I finally got served to a young teen who looked so overwhelmed and exhausted. We ordered 1 chicken wrap meal and extra chips, tabouli, garlic sauce. And was only given he wrap 1 chips and salad. I then had to try and grab somebody and show reciept were missing something.
people around us in the dine in area were waiting much longer and kept making mistakes in their order.
And this poor girl saying to each person who dined its going to take another 20mins.
I also heard the couple next us say we're not coming back here.
I asked where is manager they said in office. My question to this establishment where is the structure and supportand the team leadership ? everyone who worked there was running to multiple locations.
I do not blame the staff on their poor time management and running everywhere.
Tbh they do not have enough training and theyre was manager on the floor.
This is not right as a manager to not direct your team right and not in the decency have anyone at registers or have a signage at front door Of due to high level of orders there will be delays please be patient as we make your meal.
And the wrap we ordered was not the usual thick and tasteful theyre was so much sauce.
Again please train your team and support them on a busy night. No one in that team did not deserve to be blind sided.
And theres crowd of teen workers just standing and giggling. (Where is your manager to sperate you teens and helping customers or making food or cleaning)
I have been to mutliple locations and the teams there have been trained extensively and amzing customer service. And yummiest mouth watering food. And someone always cleaning the dining section.

As I’m not a big fan of their food I thought I would surprise my family with some takeout. I decided to give the new Lakemba store a go last night at 5:45pm as it is on my way home and wanted to bring my family chicken dinner, other than Oporto’s. I bought a family box and mixed chicken box as a family box looked more like a share box between 2 people. I only live a couple of minutes away so I decided to do take away and eat at home. Unfortunately, It seems that they are consistent crap. Between the food being cold, lack of staff organisation, unprofessional customer service and unnecessary long wait time for food, the chicken was overcooked and dry. I had to repeat my order a number of times as the person taking my order was asking for my order but not listening as I had to repeat it over 3 times. They did a wonderful job converting the old Red Rooster but don’t let the fancy decor fool you…..There is nothing worse than supporting a local business and you feel like you have just been ripped off, when your hard earned money is wasted on burnt and below average food. It’s not hard to cook chips thoroughly and salt them properly. I’m sure they may have their positive moments but I am yet to have one. C’mon people! Have some consideration and take pride when accepting money from people to provide a service. I don’t understand how El jannah can consistently rip people off in order to increase their profits. Serve fresh food consistently and provide your customers with good value for money and your business will succeed. I usually buy extra chicken to make lunches the following day but it was that dry that we threw away the rest. Rip customers and they will not return like myself. I will stick with Kingsgrove charcoal or Oporto’s chicken for now, at least I will receive better quality products and service.
