Extremely Poor Customer Service and Terrible Experience at KFC

Yesterday, I placed an online order at KFC. When I reached the drive-thru window to collect my food, the staff member at the counter was extremely rude, as if he was doing me a favor by handing over the food for free. After keeping me waiting for a few minutes, he asked me to park my car as the food wasn’t ready yet.

I waited for over 15 minutes in the parking area, and no one came to deliver my order. Eventually, I had to approach another KFC employee who was casually chatting with friends outside. When I asked him to check on my order, he brought it over after a while. I asked him why it took so long, and his response was, “We were making it fresh. Good things come to those who wait.”

If that was his idea of a "good thing," then it’s a joke. The food I received was cold, stale, and even burnt. Nothing was fresh. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and it completely ruined my evening.

Very poor experience. Amateur customer service. In competent staff. Unhygienic amenities (the toilet roll hangs from the back of the stall door for goodness sake). Smelled like the actual chickens free range in the “restaurant”) 🤢 that should’ve been warning enough! Purchased nearly $100 of food to go, drove all the way home to find parts of the order missing. Ordered 2x giant feasts, the attendant combined the nuggets into one box, and obviously couldn’t count as she only packed 24x nuggets instead of 36x? 🤷🏼‍♀️ The chip packets were half filled, and the attendant totally missed a box of 10x wicked wings! When I phoned to sort it out, I was met with incompetent handling, told they would check the cameras and sort it out tomorrow?! Um excuse me? They were more than happy to swipe my card to take my money straight away, but couldn’t be bothered to resolve their poor handling errors straight away. I was told they didn’t do deliveroo to fix their error, however they have a huge neon sign advertising it! Wasted money, out of pocket and furious! Do yourself and your hungry tribe a favour and drive right on past KFC Lakemba to McDonalds! They suck!!!! No star rating (damn you one star) 👎🏼 That’s a...

Given this KFC too many chances, disappointedly won't be coming back as this is my local KFC, heading to Punchbowl KFC next time. Fingers crossed they aren't as incompetent.

Sing prayers of hope and dance for joy when they actually get your order correct, nothing is missing and the food is good. If you swing by in the afternoon there's a better chance of receiving a solid meal.

Very, very, very rarely will you be completely satisfied with the meal you pay for. Very willing to accept your cash and even more willing to offer you below average quality food.

Be it undercooked, bland or extra oily food, long waits, missing items and "mostly" incompetent staff - Come here for sure and be ready to get your socks knocked off.

After easily spending over $600 this year alone at this franchise, had enough and complained after they stuffed up my $50 order for a group of 5. They called me back 2-3 hours later unprofessionally demanding what was missing. The main point is not to accuse the customers and have some decent customer service.
