Once this place was great with a wider selection of food and the venue itself is beautiful with the high wood beams and photos of Italy. Unfortunately the service tonight was terrible. We waited 50 mins for a basic steak and hamburger (chosen because the menu unfortunately doesn't do the amazing macadamia nut and hollumi salad anymore). When I asked about when the food would come the cook yelled at me about it being a hugely busy night - but there was only a group of 8 present when we ordered; all other people came after us and got food first. Many tables however would have half the dishes served so that half the table finished before the rest came out and the waiter was completely lost as to who ordered what and had to re-take several orders as he had forgotten. The Italian guy making the pizzas seemed lovely though and apologised for the wait. I understand waiting when it is busy but to be yelled at after waiting 50 minutes was very poor service and we will not likely come back again.
