This was truly the worst experience I have ever had in a Gloria jeans or any other cafe for that matter. Today I was in the shop where I constantly had to repeat my order and then when the food was ready I was screamed at across the room. I got up and took my food to the table just waiting for 2 Tim tam ice chillers. As I picked them up to walk over to my table a lady passing by bumped me and I dropped one of them. The old Asian lady working there gave me the worst look like i had thrown it at her or something. And the young guy working there cleaned up the mess while I constantly apologised especially after feeling so bad for something that wasnât my fault. I stood at the pick up counter for maybe 5 minutes constantly being looked at but no one saying a thing. I then realised that weâre cleaning up and not making a replacement drink. I honestly think I would of been fine with what I was being told if it was said to me 5 Minutes prior instead of me standing there like an idiot waiting for a drink. Most companies whether itâs them dropping the drink or you race to get another one made so that the customer still gets what they paid for out of common courtesy especially since we had spent a good $35 in store ( itâs not a big company thing maccas does it ). I was rudely told that if I wanted another drink Iâd have to pay for it because well she didnât drop it so why would I get another one. I felt so embarrassed just standing there while people stared at me and I would never nor would I recommend ever stepping foot in this shop again.    Read moreWell came here in the morning for a fresh â Vanilla Chillerâ but the attitude of a female staff didnât make me feel âchillâ at all. I knew she is Vietnamese so I made an order in Vietnamese, she refused to answer in Vietnamese and continued to speak in English, which is undebatable except the words out from her tongue are so rude â thatâs it?â, âwhatâs your name?â with an annoyed face. sometimes these words are said by another sellers, who have limited English but made me happy, because of their happy faces. This young female staff definitely know how to speak English in an polite way but refused to use it to customers.
The âVanilla chillerâ is supposed to come with cream on top. But I didnât see any cream on top, my bf came to her and ask for cream. Second time STILL WITH AN ANNOYED FACE like we did something wrong to her. We didnât notice the small sign âNo cream todayâ and what she did is just simply point the finger to the sign.
Please if you feel tired, ask your boss to off from work, donât come to work with that attitude, I own you nothing and ask for nothing except paying money for a regular, standard drink served with a âstandard attitudeâ. Itâs so annoyed when you are planning to start the day with a fresh drink and get treated this way.

I was sitting while waiting for my companion to arrive for a meeting and I was asked TWICE if I am ordering! The 1st time I said yes but I am still waiting for my companion so we could order together because it is quite customary to do that if it is a 1st time meet-up. The place is not even full and there a lot of empty tables! I was asked a 2nd time and it was done very RUDELY and even the other customers heard! The staff said that I was taking too long waiting! To appease them I ordered ahead and was shown a lot of attitude while my order was being taken and prepared. I commented that they are being rude and the reply I got was: âTalk to my boss because she was the one who asked me to do itâ. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this.
