8:30am, I’m stood waiting at the till for around 10 minutes, with no one behind the register to serve me. Guy making the coffees 5ft away didn’t acknowledge or reassure me that someone would be there soon to take my order. I asked him if it would be possible to get served, to which he just raised his eyebrows. He then popped his head round the corner, started speaking Spanish and a lady came strolling out. I told her that the customer service was really poor (which may have been a bad idea). The lady who served me and the guy making coffee, then once again started speaking Spanish to one another. Little do they know I speak basic Spanish, and it was something a long the lines of “don’t make the coffee”. I then waited a further 10 minutes whilst 5 people who ordered after me began to get their coffee. I asked the guy (overly politely) if he could make mine next, and he quite literally blanked me and walked away. I had to ask another lady if she could make it and she didn’t say a word. It looked like it killed her to serve me. In short, staff are horrendously rude. They’ll speak amongst themselves thinking you don’t understand and try their best to make your experience unpleasant. Read moreUpdate 11-July-2025. Australia Square location again failed me. Second time they are missing fresh Jalapeños for me. And also missing the Tortilla chips with the bowl. And absolutely no point in wasting your time giving feedback in the link provided by their customer service , they never respond. They just want to make more profit by ignoring the customers. They simply don’t care or they don’t have enough resources for customer care.
Don’t know what is happening with this location , terrible customer service always. Never fail to disappoint me whenever I order. I will stop ordering from this GYG location since this is happening every time and in particular won’t consider GYG going forward for eating out. You have lost me as a customer.
This location is always late when I order pickup using the GYG mobile app. App says order is ready , but it is not really ready. And couple of times, I selected Fresh Jalapeño as extra ingredient and they mixed it both times - terrible ! Looks like they have problem in delivering it on time , if I customize the Burrito and chose to remove any items....
Read moreWould not recommend for lunch. Ordered a burrito but the store was low on chicken. Waited for about 20 min to see the backlog of orders being served, but did not receive my food. Went to ask about my order (they were serving orders nearly 100 numbers later) and got told to wait more (they forgot mine). Waited another 20 min to get my food. Didn't get anything to apologise for the mess up, and the worst part they got the order wrong (asked for no pico de gallo, got no salad but pico de gallo was there).

Completing the form was time consuming, only to realise it cannot be submitted without an attachment (after wasting so much time waiting, I ate the burrito to continue working rather than take a picture of it or go back and waste another 40min to get it right).
