HUMM Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Sydney

I am rating on food not coffee as this must be good as it was very busy, however we were the only ones eating food. Ordered poached eggs and bacon and gluten free toast, wouldmprefer normal bread but it is no longer trendy. Please cafes bring it back, most people want this. Was terrible for both of us as we ordered the same. Toast is black coloured which we could get passed but tasted terrible and we didn’t eat and cost extra.. Bacon was tough and not the best, eggs were ok. Ordered iced coffee and iced latte, if you you like really strong flavour them you will love this. We didn’t as usually when we get this elsewhere it is more of a milkshake type drink. Asked when we were leaving by someone how was it and replied it wasn’t great but not for us, but he just turned around and continued to work so expect he didn’t hear me not that it would make a difference. We were recommended this wonderful little cafe by our accommodation just down the road. This place certainly delivered. Best coffee and food we experienced in Sydney. Buttermilk pancakes - the best I have had. My partner and son also loved the reuben sandwich. We came back the next day for more great food. I had the mushrooms this time. Wow!! Delicious. The coffee they roast and sell is so good I brought some beans back home to NZ and bought a coffee machine! The customer service is second to none and extremely helpful and friendly. Well in a last 8 months i have been coming down here for coffee every chance i get. The way find out about the place i was on construction project two or three blocks away from a cafe and needed excellent coffee to kick off the morning. The truth is what they say about a coffee machine quite excellent machine, same as barrista who is making coffee not sure about food but i am guessing must be same as coffee.
