I tried to have breakfast here this morning. I was drawn in by the good reviews. Sorry, but I have no idea how this place can even get more than three stars.
The service was terrible, slow, and the staff didn’t know the menu. I asked the girl who was taking my order what the seafood pancake consisted of (because the photo of it on the menu wasn’t clear enough), and according to her, it was supposed to contain vegetables and seafood. The only vegetables I could find in the half-raw cooked pancake were two kinds of onions, chopped into huge pieces. The seafood was okay, though the prawns still had their tails on, which made it very inconvenient to eat as I had to dig through my food. Overall, the food was bland and tasteless, edible but not worth the money. For a large long black and a seafood pancake, I paid $35. I couldn’t even finish half of it.
The atmosphere isn’t as nice and vibrant as in the photos; everything is quite worn out and, in some spots, dirty and dusty. I will never return here, and I don’t recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor, take a walk to Crows Nest and find...
Read moreI recently celebrated my birthday brunch at this gorgeous cafe with my friends & family & I’m so glad I found this place after searching using google. I totally love the aesthetics of the place & the food itself. The presentation & details of the food lives up to the shabby chic theme of the place and mind you it is gastronomically satisfying for a very reasonable price. More than everything is the excellent customer service they offer to their customers. I made reservations through their facebook messenger & they are always responsive even after business hours. The best part is the complimentary flower they gave me since it was my birthday & it is a floral cafe.
We ordered:
• Cadenza Breakfast Plate • High Rise 2 level storey of Belgian Waffle & Bulgogi Bowl • Acai Bowl • Cadenza Smashed • Bulgogi Burger • So cool juice, avocado & mango thickshake & chai latte
Everything is good!
Thank you for the...
Read moreSaw the good reviews here and thought I'd try for a little spot of breakfast on a work morning.
Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. We tried the avocado toast, coffee and one of the teas.
The prices are average to high for the area and the portion sizes were very small considering.
The biggest issue for me was the tea, they tried to charge me the 'eat in price' of $6.50 for it, even though I got it takeaway. For a tiny cup of some sort of fruit syrup/cordial with a english breakfast teabag. I was expecting actual tea, rather than, whatever it was that I drank.
Whilst the waitress was friendly, and attentive, people who looked like the cafe owners thought they'd come out and stand there and oogle my colleagues and I for a good 10 minutes, which was really strange and...
