Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience: Terrible Customer Service, Excessive Wait Times, and Neglected Facilities
Review: My recent visit to Hungry Jack's left me utterly dissatisfied with their abysmal customer service, ridiculously long wait times, and overall poor facilities. It was an experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.
First and foremost, the customer service at Hungry Jack's was a complete letdown. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic courtesy. They exhibited a complete disregard for customer needs and concerns. Asking for assistance or even a simple question was met with indifference, as if they couldn't be bothered to provide any form of assistance. It was truly disheartening to witness such apathy towards customers.
To make matters worse, the wait times were beyond acceptable limits. I understand that fast food restaurants can get busy, but this was simply unacceptable. The line moved at a snail's pace, with no apparent effort to expedite the process. It felt like an eternity standing there, wasting precious time that could have been better spent elsewhere. Hungry Jack's clearly needs to improve their efficiency and streamline their operations.
Furthermore, the facilities at this particular Hungry Jack's location were in a woeful state. The dining area was unclean and neglected. Tables were dirty and strewn with garbage, making it clear that proper maintenance was lacking. The overall ambiance was far from inviting, leaving a negative impression on customers. It's disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail and basic cleanliness.
In conclusion, my experience at Hungry Jack's was nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of terrible customer service, excruciating wait times, and poorly maintained facilities left me feeling frustrated and utterly disappointed. I strongly advise anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience to steer clear of this establishment. Read more8.54am 9/6/2025 The older Asian lady in the black & white striped jumper was so rude. The AI box couldn’t seem to understand what we were trying to order and it alerted her , she came to the speaker box huffing and puffing at us as we’re trying to order as if we were a burden to her morning and bothering/ her. When she asked is that all, we said no to order some more and she had the nerve to sigh loud enough that we just gave up trying to get our full order. ( since it became such a burden to her to help us. ) When we finally got to the payment window she was even ruder , there wasn’t a hello, instead it was “ it was the blah blah blah “ rushed through our order, rolling her eyes at us, we didn’t hear a word correctly, “ cash or card “ and before we even tapped the card she slammed the window in our face and ran back to the front. We got to the next window and she pretty Much shoved our drinks in our face and told us to park in the waiting bay and again slamming the window in our face. After about 10 minutes of waiting a younger girl brought our order out and she was lovely and apologetic for the behaviour of this women.
Disgusting service from this women that seemed to be a manager or possibly someone higher. What a look she’s setting to the store.
We understand the frustrations of this new AI order taker, but seriously if you can’t deal with it having issues and you as someone in your big position having to go help a customer yourself, you’ve got some serious issues.
She should be spoken to by someone higher than her by her behaviour. If CHILDREN can act responsibly and show some respect etc why can’t this older women do the same ? She’s definitely working in the wrong industry if she can’t have simple customer service. Either way, we won’t be ordering from this...

On this visit I have noticed the following 1.they have now moved the free refill station to behind the desk and are now refusing to give out free refills even though it's BK policy to give free refills with the cup hat they give you. When I asked the girl who was serving me why they have moved it and refused a refill I got the answer "I don't know" and laughed at me.staff should know policy and reasons why this has happened for the exact reason , customers may ask.
They have now taken down the notice that has the name of the owner of the franchise and also the duty manager so you can't ask for the manager by name. Why?
4.The girl serving me had no name tag on.
On other separate visit during the week at 9pm they had all the lights switched of which made me.think and probably other customers that it was not open. I only knew they were open as I seen customers sitting in, so, I went in and ordered my food and also informethwm the lights were not switched on. So they probably lost alot of customers that night.
On the weekend at 10pm they were hosing down the floor to clean it with soap, while they were still cooking chips and the mist I could see was going on the food prep area and the fresh cooked chips!!!
Also this created a ohs hazard for the staff as they were asking through pools of water Not safe!
Cleanliness is OK, 6 tables had not been wiped down or cleared of rubbish. . 8.staff diversity is non existent here. I was surprised to see the maie toilet cleaned and smelling fresh compared to other fast food outlets lol
Staff are pleasant and have good manners 👍
