If there was an option on negative rating I would have given that .My first (and it also be my last dine in experience in Hyderabad house) , Harris park was nothing short of poor customer service and pathetic food quality . I went there at night about three weekends before and as soon as I entered I could see people lined up but no waiter talking to them , or taking the quest count to reserve tables. After some time I reached out to the guy at billing counter and then he went around looking for a table . After few minutes we got a table , got a menu and placed an order. From the time we ordered , we waited almost 45 minutes to receive half of the ordered food . One would think the food has to be finger licking good after that much wait but to our dismay the food was extremely pathetic . We ordered a chicken kolhapuri, chicken dum biryani, chicken noodles , cheese nan and mango lassi and except lassi all of it was horrible . The noodles was cold and Chicken very chewy and slimy .on complaining to the waitress, she took it back and I suppose they just microwaved it and sent it back . So much for the quality and customer satisfaction .the chicken kolhapuri was poorly seasoned and flavoured and biryani seemed liked Someone just mixed rice and tandoori style chicken Broken into small pieces by hand because it appeared being pulled apart by hand and the chicken was very dry. i wasn’t surprised to see it wasn’t just us who had these complaints but there was another group of girls also who apparently waited more than an hour to get food that had to be sent back to get redone . She too shared her horrible experience with me .since anything was barely worth eating we left for billing and at the billing counter I told the guy that everything today was extremely horrible and to that he said “ oh really” ? His attitude and inability to take feedback made me realise how much meaningless and far gone is the sense of customer service and hospitality for such restaurants . Definitely not on my list of restaurants to be...
Read moreThe reason, I gave two stars is purely the service. As nothing else lived upto expectations. Items ordered: Non Veg Platter: I am not sure how old was that platter, but I can bet on that it was not fresh. It had two tiny bits of kebab that had such hard edges that those were put in microwave for atleast 2 or 3 times. All the other chicken pieces they were smothered with masalas for no reason. Few salad and onion rings were put there to make things look fresh.
Chicken Tikka Masala: I have never in my life had sweet chicken tikka masala. It had chopped pieces of bbq chicken mixed. I can guarantee I can cook better chicken tikka masala than what their cook presented (I am saying cook coz a chef takes pride in what he/she is serving out).
Schezuan Chicken Noodles: That was the only item that we liked, even though it was chilli bomb. I can understand Schezuan sauce is nkrmally hot but a it also matters how much quantity it goes into an item. However if everything is pre made and microwaved then nothing can be done. I think what some restaurants do not realise if they use microwave to heat food, it is very easy to figure out coz the item will get cold very fast comapre to freshly prepared or atleast heat up in the wok on the flame.
Service was the only thing that this restaurant had, the girls were friendly.
Lastly, I never send my food back to kitchen and never get upset at the restaurant people for obvious reasons. Hence I put my honest opinion in the review.
And My honest opinion is Hyderabad house is out of my list.
Reply:. Thanks for reply. Your reply is evident that what I wrote was correct. Great effort of reconciliation.

We went there because we were having a craving of ginger chicken but instead settled for chili chicken. Chili chicken was really good with enough portion size for 2 people.
Seekh kebab was another story though. There are 2 menus for kebab here(confusing I know, but there is a good reason) one is for kebabs made in the tandoor inside the kitchen($4-5 cheaper) and the other is for kebabs made outside LIVE on the grill. The first time I ordered my kebab it was so hard that i had to really bite into it, so I sent it back to get another plate which was also hard but considerably softer. What i couldn’t fathom was why is skeekh kebab this hard, felt like someone had made it before and just microwaved it. Turns out that they make the kebabs for the tandoor inside the kitchen in batches, so if they made the batch for 5 kebabs and you order the 1st 3 immediately you are in luck, but if you wait for 2hrs and then order then you are screwed. I would recommend just order it from the outside grill and pay the extra bucks.
The fruit custard was ok but the huge dollop of mango ice cream was very distracting as it had a very strong taste. It should have been named mango icecream with custard instead of custard with icecream.
