Location: Town Hall
The place is really good.. you can feel the vibe of eating in a Korean Restaurant and the slight vibe of New York can be felt from the combination of dishes as they have fried chicken with yellow mustard sauce. You can also drink Soju (rice spirit) here while having your meal. It's not overcrowded like the usual Korea resto and they have a toilet inside which is really convenient.
About the food. The soup is served while it's boiling, I'm really amazed I should say. I can tell that the meat is not fresh based on the taste of the soup.. but the fried chicken (original flavour) is the best one you should try here. The breading use in the chicken together with the suace gives the chicken it's natural flavour to be felt. There's a lot of food to choose from but go for the original chicken. You won't regret it. The original froed chicken is the one that is distinctive at this resto.
The stuffs are really accomodating and friendly. Overall one of Sydney's authentic Korean Resto.🦛

Read moreTo be fair, their food is worth what you pay, 15.99 for lunch buffet. It was our go-to place for korean good in CBD but NOT ANYMORE. because of the gross attitude the staff have. We were there the other day for lunch, after having 2-3 plates we feel full and start chatting. Suddenly a korean man (owner?) came to our table and shouted to us: “you’re staying for way too long! It’s been 2.5 hours already, this is ridiculous” and walked away. The attitude was like we were steeling his money. But first we weren’t eating anymore, and the restaurant was barely half full. The most unacceptable thing is his attitude. You never talk to you customer like that especially this was the FIRST time anyone ever came to us reminding for time limit, which they only stated OUTSIDE the restaurant btw. He literally drag me down stairs out of the store to show me their “TIME LIMIT”. We will not go back and windy recommend anyone to go because of the owner’s...
Read moreVisited on a weekday night, wasn’t crowded at around 6.30.
The indoor lighting is a bit dark and decorated with quite a few ‘ghost’ themed figures and posters. The table and menu is a bit oily but acceptable. Usually can expect good food in these environments.
Ordered chive pancake, small Budae jjigae and smoked duck breast. In general the taste and flavour and already look forward to the next visit.
The chive pancake is full of leaves with light batter, the sauce comes with nice acidity and balanced the oiliness.
The small budae jjigae has a nice combined sweet and spicy flavour. I would prefer the sausages are cooked for shorter to keep its crispness but it’s only personal preference.
The smoked duck breast is light and easy to eat. The sauce has an interesting hint of mustard and matches quite well with pickles and leaves.
Would definitely want to try their pork hock , intestines and fried chicken with...
