Had this for the first time, really enjoyed the crumbed mushrooms and chicken wings, along with beer and pork knuckle (shared between 4 people). Pork knuckle was crispy on outside juicy and tender on inside. Service was excellent even though there's only one waitress (Thursday 22nd October, 2020) that waitress was very friendly and she did the best she could regardless of how busy it became. Even though it's tiring work being by herself she really did her best in service. Since I live far from Cronulla I would be going there again one day if I'm in the area. Surely it's better and cheaper than hurricane's grill at Bondi, and the portions were fully plated. One pork knuckle on my own is plenty for me but those who haven't tried it before, the crumbed mushrooms is a MUST. It comes along with a mild creamy sauce. (Not too sure if it's actually mayonnaise with chilli powder mix), the sauce for the crumbed mushrooms was SOOOOO yummy. The place is small, but the food was good. Just one thing: the table tops was kinda sticky that night. But never complained about it. Just thought I'd let the place know. Enjoyed everything else. A big thank you for...

I got unreasonably excited when I spotted this place offering a midweek double schnitty deal that didn’t break the bank, so naturally, I treated myself to a feed like the responsible adult I am.

Let’s start with the service: top-tier. The staff were all legends, friendly, quick with the banter, and dishing out shade in that warm, “we roast because we care” kind of way. The vibe was solid. 10/10 for atmosphere and sass.

Now… the food. Oh boy. Either the chef was having a rough one, or someone angered the deep fryer gods. The schnitzel came out overcooked and very dry. Not much seasoning going on, felt like even the salt bailed on this one.

As for the mushrooms, I wouldn’t wish those on my worst enemy. Overcooked, weirdly very watery inside, and completely flavourless. The only thing they were stuffed with was disappointment.

The pretzel? Surprisingly solid. Not life-changing, but it held its own and didn’t betray me.

All in all, great people, good vibes, semi...

Authentic German Experience with Exceptional Beer and Food!

If you’re looking for a true taste of Germany, this place is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with rustic wooden decor and traditional music that sets the perfect mood. The beer selection is outstanding—crisp, flavorful, and served just the way it should be. I highly recommend trying their house-brewed pilsner or a classic hefeweizen.

The food was equally impressive. From the perfectly grilled bratwurst to the rich and hearty schnitzel, every bite was full of flavor. The pretzels were fresh and warm, and the mustard had the perfect kick. Don’t miss the apple strudel for dessert—it was the perfect finish.

Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Our server was more than happy to make recommendations and explain the different beer styles.

Whether you’re a beer lover, a fan of German cuisine, or just looking for a great night out, this spot delivers in every...

I just went for lunch with my daughter today and did not met the expectation in regards of the food quality based from a friend referral. I ordered pork schnitzel but it's too dry and the way it served the dish was over flow on the regular size plate. It could've be more presentable if it serves to a bigger plate to avoid falling down other side dish when you slice the schnitzel. So, 2 star for trying to rectify the food quality complaint however the owner did not provided me an option on how to rectify the issue. I requested to replace it with different dish "pork knuckle" instead which is it comes the way I expected. And I paid the full price of pork knuckle as replacement. The meat was moist, not salty and crispy skin. The mango beer is a not bad. The sourkraut is quite dry as well. Overall, based on their pricelist, I would expect for a good quality food. Would I recommend it? maybe for the pork knuckle. Should I coming back? I don't think so. First try is enough!

It was a decent place to go for a big glass of refreshing pilsner on a hot day. The beer was quite good. Can't say much about food as we ordered only pretzels and chicken wings. They were ok. Not exactly to my liking, but still worth trying. Pretzels are almost there, but lack the perfect colour and the crunch (owner said he ships those frozen from Germany) and wings could be cut, instead of full wing. The place tries to come across as a beerhall, but comes across as a lower end watering hall, with simplistic festival furniture and full list of german ornaments. The owner was friendly and did his best for us to feel welcomed and entertained, however he took it too far with a pair of women that were sitting next to us, who packed up and left after several pushy interactions, quietly sharing comments about those between each other. Cronulla pricing.
