South Beach Seafood Co Cronulla — Restaurant in Sydney

If I could give zero, I would. Had lunch yesterday with my husband in this shop and expecting that we will enjoy the grilled seafood platter on the way we expected to be cooked. We requested to replace the fish to salmon and we paid for an extra which is fine. We specifically requested to cook the salmon to a medium cooked (pinkish in the middle) but when we started to eat the salmon it's raw and unable to sliced with the takeaway cutlery. The skin not cooked at all. I returned it back and requested a medium cooked but it was served overcooked. I have been watching the cook who's cooking all orders. She is definitely NO experience on how to cook fish such as salmon because she cooked the salmon meat down first into the pan instead of skin down first to get the crispy consistency of the skin and to get the medium cooked consistency as soon it flip the fish. But she ruined my appetite while watching her the way she cook the fish. I understand anywhere in hospitality now were experiencing staff shortage but at least to have a person making your food have an understanding and knowledge on how to cook a better food and meet the standards! What a waste of money and time. Not recommended this place and never return back because the issue and complaint did not executed to the best standards....

I had high hopes for this seafood place, but my experience was incredibly disappointing. After waiting behind four other customers for about seven minutes, I finally got to the counter, only to be met with a lack of flexibility that left me frustrated. I simply asked for a grilled fish burger with coleslaw, but the staff insisted they only serve it with lettuce and tomato. Seriously? It's not that complicated!

I ended up purchasing two bottles of water, but at that point, I was so put off by the inflexibility and the poor attitude of the staff that I decided to walk away instead of ordering anything else. What a waste of time and money! The service was abysmal, and it felt like they couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.

I was very disappointed with my last visit to this Fish and chip shop. I ordered my favourite pack as usual however, I am assuming, the new owner didn’t like it. I was only asking for more salad and no chips, which is the usual combo just without chips like I would order with the old owner (who always offered a bit more salad if I didn’t want chips). He wanted to sell me the fish and salad separately for $2 extra. Finally I asked for whole grilled pack.. not caring if there were chips or not as I don’t need to eat the chips if I don’t want to, which is fine. Anything would have been fine but just tell me. I paid and got the waiting number but after few minutes he came back with money and said that he doesn’t want to serve me. My friend and I were shocked.
