My partner and I are Lebanese and have been searching for good Lebanese food around Sydney ever since we recently moved to Australia from Lebanon. We needed to satisfy our cravings and we haven't been able to find a restaurant that could match the flavours from Beirut. HOWEVER, let me tell you, Yalla Sawa did more than satisfy our cravings! As someone not familiar with Lebanese food the menu was too minimalist for me. I had no idea what I was going to end up with, thankfully my husband knew. Meals were fairly priced. We were told they were good for sharing, but most serving still looks like for a single person unless ordering multiple items.

We selected three dishes to share between two and they were delectable. I especially enjoyed the baked eggplant, my sister the kofta and cauliflower dish.
