It’s a shame how low this place has come down in terms of food & drink standard, paired with unsympathetic staffs.

My party of 4 was dining in yesterday, among other items that was ordered, I personally ordered an Ice Milk Coffee, it came in a small take away cup instead of the regular glass they advertised it with, while my brother got a much taller (as advertised size) glass. In the beginning I didn’t think much of it as maybe they serve ice coffee in this take away instead the regular glass, only to find out a moment later they serve the other table an exact same drink with a proper tall glass (not in a short take away cup like what i got).

I then called the waiter that took my order and asks why am I not getting my drinks in a proper cup as they advertised, with an abundance of ice where I had specifically asked for little ice due to the cold weather, he said that they had run out of the dine in glass, and that they both are exactly the same in serving size, and once i filled it with water it will be exactly the same.

I found that this explanation is absolutely ridiculous, i explained that this is what i ordered, if they were to told me that I will be the only one getting a different size when the other table who ordered after me were able to get a proper size, I would have not ordered it. It is silly how they keep defending their approach as the other staff said no one ever complain about the size of the take away cup, which I then explain that what other customers said don’t matter as I personally don’t appreciate that I’ve been treated unfairly, I will still pay for the drink but I will be leaving this review.

The service used to be so great, I loved coming here with my family and friends as we all live in Hurstville and this was one of our favourite places to eat.

Unfortunately, today we experienced extremely poor service.

One of us wanted to order an avocado smoothie and before we could tell the lady what we wanted she said they only had soft drinks available. We then asked how about the iced coffee then she changed and said yes that’s available.

Someone came in after us and ordered an avocado smoothie and received it after we were told that they were unavailable.

When we went to pay we asked why we couldn’t get the smoothie and 3 of the employees came in and got very defensive and became extremely rude. We were told 3 different stories by 3 different staff.

One of them said that the avocados were too hard.

The second said that they did not have enough avocados.

The third said that right after we ordered their supplier supplied only “1 avocado” which sounds too convenient in my opinion.

I know how busy it can get as I also work in customer service however, you should not raise your voice, roll your eyes, and say things like “do you understand” to your customers.

One of us has come 3 different times before this to order the avocado smoothie and has been denied every time. However today it seems like they are discriminating against us.

We were polite the entire time and just said thank you and left. As a customer service worker myself, it’s very unusual for the workers to get aggressive to the customer as it is completely unprofessional to do so.

They may feel proud that they had the last word however it’s very hard for us to recommend this restaurant to our families and...

Since the Pho in the entire suburb of Hurstville is mid, I thought I pay it a visit after abandoning it for 7 solid years.

Upon entrance, was shown the table. The place looked quite clean and surprisingly quiet for a Saturday noon but I soon found out why.

The infamous waitress with poor service (young, short and round faced) brought the menu and basically threw it on the table. You could not get her to crack a smile if life depended on it but I didn't care as long as the Pho was good.

The menu had a wide variety but I was after the Pho. This is the only Pho restaurant that doesn't have the Special Combination beef so I ordered the Beef and Beef Brisket. The same waitress asked if I wanted the rare or cooked beef so I chose rare. As expected the beef came cooked to the max. A tip for other customers who want to come, order the cooked if you want the rare because I'm certain the waitress did it on purpose.

The broth was probably the worst in Hurstville. Totally flavourless and did not resemble any pho flavours at all. The brisket itself was quite good so credit should be given there. The beef also was tender but a shame it didn't come rare as requested.

The prices was decent at $16.50 and I paid with a $50 note. The same waitress went to grab her phone and used the calculator which cemented the conclusion she has no redeeming features as a waitress whatsoever.

Really wanted this place to be better than that but wasn't the case. Won't be coming back for...
