I wasn’t planning to write this review since my partner already did, but every time I visit Mizuki Japanese Restaurant, I’m reminded why it’s my absolute favourite place to eat in Sydney. The food is always exceptional, fresh, and full of flavour — you can truly taste the love and care that goes into every dish. Andy and Agnes go to the fish market before sunrise to handpick the freshest ingredients, and you can feel that dedication in every bite.

But what makes Mizuki special isn’t just the incredible food — it’s the people. Andy and Agnes are the sweetest, most loving souls. Every time I talk about going there, it feels like I’m talking about seeing my friends. The staff are so kind and attentive, and the whole experience feels warm, genuine, and personal.

We ordered dinner on Uber Eats on New Year's Day. Despite the public holiday the food was delivered quickly and was amazingly fresh and flavoursome.
