I work in the center upstairs and noticed Muffin Break recently opened, complete with balloons and a nice looking setup. Wanting to support the new store, I decided to give their coffee a try, especially since their rewards system was a nice incentive. I ordered a mocha, thinking itās hard to mess up. Unfortunately, the drink was awful, it tasted like warm water mixed with milk.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt, figuring they were still getting the hang of things, so I went back a week later. This time, an older woman took my order, and when I tried to use the rewards app, it didnāt work. She spent about 5 minutes trying to fix it but seemed unsure of what to do. In the end, she said it had gone through, but nothing was resolved.
To top it off, the second mocha I ordered was somehow even worse than the first it tasted awful, and I had to rush to the bathroom soon after. If youāre in the area, Iād recommend heading next door to Bon Bons for a much better coffee experience. I wonāt be going back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a google guide I take reviewing seriously. šššIf you look at many of the negative reviews they are from 5 yrs ago. This store only openned a month ago. Once again google not doing its job properly. š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬I have nothing to do with this busness but do get extremely fed up with google as you can see by my review about google. Here is a more current review. I was extremely happy with my visit to Muffin Break Castle Hill yesterday. I was served by a gentleman that was friendly smiling and helpful which is a rare commodities in the Hills area these days. All 3 muffins were fresh and delicious. š§š§š§ The biggest bonus was that there was no plastic packaging.ššš Hooray. So many other food outlets do not give care about our environment and are more than happy to destroy it. Wishing you heaps of success. I will be promoting it in my facebook pages as a way to enjoy a tasty treat without...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSlowest Muffin Break I have ever been to, both in just taking orders and then for coffee. Ordered a mocha and what was received was absolutely not a mocha, was the colour and taste of a flat white. I guess stand there and have a sip of whatever you've ordered before you walk away.
Not sure if the "barristas" are actually trained but if they're working at such a slow pace, the orders should at least be correct. They also stand at the counter calling out the dine in orders across the walkway instead of having someone dedicated to taking these out to customers - would be very annoying if you were alone, had kids with you or had...
