I recently dined here for Korean BBQ and overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped in, the lively atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable meal. It was clear that the place was popular, as it was super busy, but that only added to the vibrant energy of the evening even though they were busy the food quality was still great.
One of the standout dishes for me was the crab side salad – it was absolutely delicious! I couldn't get enough of it and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. The combination of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients made it a highlight of our meal.
Our waiter was a breath of fresh air amidst the hectic environment. He was incredibly helpful, running up and down to cater to our requests while maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout our dining experience. It's always nice to see servers who genuinely care about their customers, and this added to the overall positive impression.
For our main course, we opted for the special Set A. While the variety was enjoyable, I found the red meat portion to be a bit little I would have preferred a more generous serving of meat, especially in comparison to the crumbed chicken, which seemed to be alot more. There was on the plate and a separate platter as it couldn’t all fit in the set plate .You also do get salmon with this set.
In summary, the Korean BBQ experience was satisfying, especially with the exceptional crab sides salad and our attentive waiter. While I would appreciate a larger meat portion in the future, I still left the restaurant with a smile and a desire to return for another round.
The restaurant was clean and well organized but I would suggest that the restaurant invest in some heaters outside as we sat outside and it was particularly cold that evening as...
Read moreI just want to say food disgusting, I use to come here regularly because of the food quality and service was amazing, however after yesterday i feel like this place now only focus on money. As I have been working in hospitality industry from 7 years so i do understand up and down of restaurants in busy time. I never want to give bad review but i have to let other customers knows what they are paying for. As i book table on 23 december at 8pm for 15 people, the number drop down to 9 people and we arrive at 8:15 which is our fault, as soon as we arrive the good thing is staff let us know that kitchen will be closing 9pm, So at 8:35 i placed order, they bring us all order by 9, so it was quick service, however later on we realised that our items are missing, the pork cutlet and cold soup never arrive and when i bring this thing up, what the amazing thing is they service chicken schnitzel as pork cutlets, without telling us, last couple of time when i came here the quality and quantity of food was so good, that i couldn’t stop myself to bring my friends, however it’s totally ruined, in soy chicken fillet they give us 3 small pieces, and when i bring this thing into account, they try to cover by saying it’s per gram(3 small pieces how many grams?, what a joke), please tell those things to people who don’t have experiences. Paid $720 cash but not worth it, i don’t mind to pay $100/$200 more for good service. I know it’s not gonna affect them but yesterday food was awful. the only good thing was their was one guy i think from Nepal, he was amazing what a legendary, he tried his best to solve the issue and apologised. He was the only best thing of the night, give him good tip. i hope this review you take seriously and have a chat with your...
Read moreVery excited to have a new KBBQ place in the area without having to drive out to Chatswood or across the bridge!
The restaurant is sleek and extremely clean. Service was the perfect balance of friendly and polite. You order via QR code and pay at the front when you leave.
Banchan was a selection of five small dishes, with an additional two special plates (a braised pork hock salad and a grilled broccolini with sesame paste).
We ordered the $69 special beef set (perfect for two/three), fried kimchi dumplings, and spicy cheese tteokbokki. The beef was melt in your mouth delicious and the salt with it was sublime! The bbq itself also didn’t produce a whole lot of smoke, which was impressive. Lettuce is $3 if you want to have it with the BBQ.
Dumplings were excellent - still crispy and great when cold (sign of a great fried dumpling), and Tteokbokki had the perfect “QQ” texture with an extreme cheese pull.
Excited to come back and try their steamed egg and fried chicken...
