The lights are on, the tree is lit, and the foodies are all dressed up. It's Christmas in July at the Oliver Brown Olympic Park! We went to the Oliver Brown to take part in their Christmas in July event last week that was organised by @lickyourphone and we had a BLAST! We popped some BonBons and took part in a Waffle decorating competition - for the record we were not good at this at all 😭 but we had heaps of fun in the process. For Dinner we had Burger Slides, Prawn tacos, some wraps and of course fries. At first we were surprised that Oliver Brown had that type of food on their menu but we loved it. Our favourite was the Chicken Wrap There was also a DJ with his trumpet playing some tunes all night so we decided to start a dance floor while we were on a sugar high. Thanks Mark Matthews! The place was beautifully decorated and the staff was super friendly and helpful, making sure everyone had what they needed when they needed it.

I was here at least 30 mins prior to closing. The trading hours says closing on Friday as 11pm and I have a picture of that from the shop. The lady simply refused to give us coffee or Belgium waffle suggesting that they have no time given they have to close. I asked that if I can speak to the manager and was told she isnt here. Point being either the business state officially that they don’t serve a customer or change the trading time you are claiming on Google or at shop. I travelled a good 10km to be here on time. Culture speaks a lot. Attached pictures. (It took 15 mins for me to write this message). The time of upload is 10:41 pm on Friday (15th Mar 2024)

We went there for Eid buffet this week around 11am. Buffet variety was good and tasty. Bit pricey though for morning breakfast buffet 35$ for adults and 20$ for kids. We had to pay for our five year old too even though I told the owner at reception that she will not eat a single bite as she was not in eating mood but she said rudely that we had to pay for her too! She later distributed a platter of sweets as may be it’s Eid but when I said Eid Mubarak to her she replied with not interested attitude! Overall it was a mixed experience of happiness as it was Eid morning and lack of enthusiastic gesture!

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) I recently had the opportunity to experience this place, and overall, it was quite enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were polite, welcoming, and professional, which immediately gave me a good first impression. The ambiance of the space was warm and comfortable — clearly designed with thought and care. Lighting, music, and cleanliness were all on point, making it a pleasant environment to be in.

As for the service, it was mostly efficient and courteous. The team seemed knowledgeable and genuinely tried to ensure that I was satisfied. I appreciated that they checked in at appropriate times and weren’t overbearing, which helped me relax and enjoy my time.

Now, onto the product itself — it was good, even impressive in some areas. You can tell they’ve put in effort to deliver something of quality. However, there were a few minor letdowns that kept this from being a five-star experience for me. For example, the presentation could have been a little more refined, and there were small inconsistencies in quality that didn’t quite match the overall standard I was expecting based on other reviews. Also, while I understand that good things take time, the wait was slightly longer than what I’d consider ideal, especially during a non-peak period.

That said, none of these points were deal-breakers. It’s clear that the establishment is passionate about what they do, and they’re getting a lot of the big things right. With just a bit more attention to detail and consistency, I believe they could easily earn that fifth star.

Would I return? Yes, absolutely. It’s a solid experience, especially for those who appreciate effort, care, and a touch of character. I’ll be keeping an eye on this place because I feel it has the potential to become truly outstanding with just a few tweaks. I’d recommend it to friends, especially those looking for something dependable with a lot of...

I regularly visit Oliver Brown in Olympic Park as it is nearby and I absolutely love their mocha coffee and their hot chocolate. I’m sure anybody who is an Oliver Brown customer knows how good they are. Compared to any other cafe, in my experience, there is no comparison; they are simply on another level. Admittedly I haven’t ever ordered any food other than the occasional cake or bicky.

This cafe is situated at the ground floor of a large apartment complex on the corner of one of the main roads around Olympic Park. However it is normally pretty quiet and relaxing in this area since the adjoining road the cafe faces is not a common thoroughfare. Lining the street are beautiful tall trees which provide plenty of shade. Normally I see customers chilling at the outdoor tables or inside watching the large telly. They have some comfortable furnishings that cater well to groups looking for a relaxing time while they enjoy their coffee and food. The staff are always nice and friendly and sometimes chatty, which creates a welcoming experience.

The only downside is that there is limited parking available. Much of the space directly outside is either a no stopping or loading zone, and often the remaining space is claimed. It is quite normal, but naturally risky, for customers to quickly stop in the unlawful space though. Across the road there are spaces with a 2 hour parking limit, but these are usually unavailable as they seem to be used by those participating in sporting events in the...

Wowza unbelievably rude staff!! 10:40pm tonight Sunday15th September walked in the doors to order a hot chocolate & a bottle of water with 4 children and 2adults, the women staff member was currently making a coffee, and said to us “this is my last one I’m not making any others” The other male staff member turns around and says we close at 11, I said surely you can make 2 more before you turn off the machine. The lady turned around and rolled her eyes stating she is not making them for all of us, “I commented this is ridiculous we only want hot choc x3 and a bottle of water and your not closed until 11pm” The women huffed making the 3 hot chocolate then refusing other customers behind us. The male staff members made a rude very Remark handed the hot chocolates then the women staff member said “ I made coffees and hot chocolate to 1am last night!” I was mortified! This is your job love what u do love or move your negativity else where! I turned around and said “ I am a business owner, your shops open till 11pm it’s now 10:45 and you’re refusing customer service, I am sure your getting paid to work to a certain time, you work to the time you don’t just close the doors on people’s coming in at 10:45pm for an early mark! To cut your owners short!!!!!!!! Feel free to have the owners contact me because these staff members are loosing you a lot of money by turning people away at 10:45pm!!! For them to have a life!!!! This was...
