Urban Jungle Adventure Park — Attraction in Sydney

We went there with our kids (8,10,13) as they love climbing. We also planned a swim at the aquatic centre afterwards (same location) to cool off, but in the end the kids were happily exhausted from all the aerial activities so we missed the swim.

Whilst close to the aquatic centre the ropes course is in amongst lots of beautiful native trees so the atmosphere is very nice. Also the whole Olympic park is close by so you could combine with Archery, Bike riding etc etc.

I was very impressed by the harness/safety system as it was more advanced than the other climbing park we had been to. The kids are secured by two carbiner thingos over the wire cables, and the technology ensures that when one carbiner is taken off (to attempt a new obstacle) the other locks, so it cannot be released, so safety seemed number one priority.

At the end of time there my two younger children immediately pestered me to hold their upcoming birthday parties at Urban Jungle - so they really loved it. I love a bit adventure so I enjoyed completing the courses as a 45 y.o. Dad.

It is a great concept and kids enjoy it but being in the aquatic centre is a bother for parents bringing kids in for a birthday party as you have to gain access through the aquatic centre. The problem with a rude staff when my wife and I went there to pickup our child was "there is no need for both the parents to enter to pickup the child" even though we were willing to pay the $8 fee to just enter and pick them up. The reason both parents might go in to pick their child up maybe that they want to thank the hosts very quickly and leave. you want to make money doing birthday parties, respect the parents...

Great place for your children to visit if they are going a bit crazy with 4 different courses that will surely tire them out and very reasonable prices. Although a good size it was a bit boring towards the end when I finished the course in 60 minutes. Would do again is challenging and great to tire...
