Ollie's Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

Well, I just walked home in tears :-( I have been told 2 nights in a row to go and buy food else where by the operators. Simply because I asked if the "crispy skinned pork belly" was really actually crispy. My 3 year old son (Ollie) has sensory processing disorder, and can only eat hard or crunchy foods. So I eat the soft meat and he eats the crackle. They accused me of criticising the food. But I wasn't. I simply said no thanks to the piece of pork with soggy skin. And explained that I was hoping to buy a piece with crackle on it. After spending 4 days now at my father's bedside, watching him slowly die, being treated so rudely topped off an already horrible week. I was truly shocked when they told me to go elsewhere. Now I have tears streaming down my face. The food looks and smells amazing! And I was looking forward to making this our regular dinner stop after long days at the hospital. We are here from Central QLD to be with my Dad during his final days. I really could have done with the comfort food and being able to buy something that my SPD son could eat. Instead we got insults and tears. P.S. Today is my birthday, so thanks for topping it off with such poor...

I have previously ordered from Ollie’s and have loved the food but the last 2 times I have ordered things have been missing from my meal. Both times I ordered creamy mash but the meal didn’t come with it. The gravy was also missed and no crackling as I had previously received in another order. There are no contact details for the restaurant online hence my review. Quite frustrating....

*EDIT: I went into the store and spoke to the owner about what had happed. Instead of apologising he was instead defensive and completely rude to me, pretty much shouting at me in the in the store and told me he would cancel my orders if I ordered again. If you order food from a restaurant and get given the incorrect food or if something is missing you would say something - why should there be different standards for Ollie’s? Sadly I will never order...

The most beautiful home cooked family fulled healthy meals , so fresh the Italian meat balls are my favourite and the roast vegetables and Mac and cheese. Awesome serving sizes and great customer service from Stuart and the always smiling and charming Justyina. Years of their cooking experience and expertise certainly pays off. The health fanatics and also people like me who enjoy a good meal will love Ollies . Welcome guys your upping the anti in the cross now all these hip and beautiful...
