Oporto Penrith Plaza — Restaurant in Sydney

I have never been served by such a miserable person in my life. As I was deciding what I wanted to order I could see this blonde man practically staring into my soul. I must have taken too long to decide what I wanted as I could see this man getting frustrated with me and shaking his head. As I was ordering, he was pressing on the screen so hard I’m surprised he didn’t break it. He was obviously trying to let out some anger. He then practically shouted at me “drink?!” Which I replied quite taken back and he just handed me my receipt and I walked off. As I was waiting for my food I could see him serving people the same way he did with me and being so aggressive towards everyone. When my friends food was ready he asked her if she wanted it in a bag, which she replied “yes please, thank you” and he shook his said and started mumbling under his breathe. I was absolutely disgusted by this behaviour. Everyone including his own staff members could clearly how angry he was. I’m not sure if maybe he was just having a bad day but either way he should not be allowed to serve customers. I have worked in customer service my whole life and I even had my work uniform on when he was serving me and I would never think of speaking or acting like that towards anyone, even if I was having a really bad day. I suggest this man either gets out the back where no customers can see him or go somewhere else because if he’s there I will not come back to that Oporto. Very...

Definately learned from this mistake. Visited this Oporto store recently. Ordered 3 XL chips and a triple “Otropo” meal. After waiting an excessive time to receive the order, (only 2 other orders were made at that time) we made our way to a table. Found that the chips are just plain, no seasoning or salt and the “Otropo” Burger was tasteless slop. Went back to the store, complained. Literally handed me a 6 little sachets of salt and then said I could buy a tiny little tub of sauce for $1 each.

The burger actually started to break apart as I was unwrapping it. It was so sloppy. I managed a mouthful and was immediately disappointed at how tasteless it was.

Tried to find the “grilled” chicken….. looked like a 20 second hit plate job.

I love Oporto, but I just can't seem to get a decent burger from this restaurant. I've tried three different times and their Bondi burgers taste dreadful. The chilli seems to be soaked into the un-fresh buns which makes me think they are pre-preparing the buns rather than making them up fresh per order. I understand the pre-prep can save a bit of time during the peak periods but it really is negatively impacting the taste and quality of your product.
