This place is just a few feet away from Milson Point station. It wasnât busy by the time we got there and we were welcomed with warmth. We were seated near to the entrance.
We had roasted duck breast as main, which was done in a way for my liking! The meat was so juicy and flavorsome with the marmalade butter, also well complemented with sauteed greens, watercress and orange. The only downside was the portion was a tad too small for sharing. Wish the portion was bigger as I couldnât get enough of it.
As for the pasta we went for salsiccia fennel orecchiette, which was perfectly done with slow braised pork sausage ragu, fennel, fennel seeds, parmigiano, shaved pecorino romano, toasted almond flakes and touch of cream. Itâs the best pasta Iâve had in a long time.
As the food portion wasnât enough for sharing, we had mango panna cotta for dessert. Love every bit of it as itâs not overly sweet and itâs flavored with cream, sugar, vanilla extract, fresh mango and strawberry.
Customer service was good as well. The servers would refill our table waters whenever they were running out. We got change of plates for dessert too...
Read moreWe visited Pasture of Kirribilli on a recommendation. Sadly we were let down in a number of areas. We arrived at 7.15pm and the main course arrived at 8.45pm. Too late. We ordered 1 entree of Prawns, which were beautiful, but 2 entrees arrived. We ordered a side of greens with our main meal. They came but were cold. We sent them back for reheating and they were returned after the main meal was almost finished. I ordered the Special Saturday Steak which offered a free glass of wine. I received 2 glasses of wine! We asked for the bill to be split. One person was charged the complete amount. We brought 2 bottles of wine (4 people) and were charged $40 for corkage, which, I believe, is extremely excessive if BYO is permitted.
The night very much reminded us of Fawlty Towers, viz. what could go wrong did go wrong.
Pasture has an opportunity to improve and can be much better if the above suggestions are...

The service was both friendly and efficient. The staff accommodated all our requests with professionalism and warmth, making us feel truly welcomed and well-cared for.
Lastly, the restaurant itself is stunning. It has been beautifully renovated with upscale decor and lighting, creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere.
