Batch Burgers — Restaurant in Sydney

I had ordered the Chicken Chipotle Burger from this restaurant a few months ago, so my memory is a little hazy, but I remember it being pretty tasty all around. The overall texture of the ingredients, however, did not mesh well, which was a deal breaker for me. The presentation was also unimpressive; it appeared as if they threw the ingredients together, which I believe they did given how easily the burger unravelled. In conclusion, this is a nice place to grab some food while looking out over the harbour. Then I went back with some friends a couple months later and got the pork overload fries to share, and this place changed for me; it used to be a 2.5, but now it's definitely a 4 for both food, drinks, and location. The chips were tasty by themselves, the pork and bacon melted in your mouth with a beautiful warm taste, and the cheese sauce that drenched the chips was the perfect creamy balance that his meal needed. The burgers here are great most of the time. Patties are cooked well and sauces are great. The selection of fries are also good too. Two things which always ruin my experience here are: 1 - The fact that they have not card facilities (how can you have Ipad and mobile ordering systems but no merchant terminal?) the two ATM's within walking distance are both not my primary bank and this always mar's my experience. Its 2015, we live in an almost a cashless society, keep up! Secondly the fact they do not have DC (diet coke).. How can you have Coke Zero, and even diet Root Beer but no DC? I actually eat here about once a week as they have great burger deals during the week and the food is always satisfying. I'm sure everyone would be happier if these two...

While limited in seating, this little American diner-style restaurant is a gem! Amazing burgers, burritos, beers, and cool staff.

The Batch Burger beef patties are HUGE and grilled to perfection, with a nice char anf full flavour. The root beer caramelised onions are the right blend of sweet and savoury, with a slice of gooey cheese and thousand island dressing to add the right bite and moisture.

The Chipotle Chicken burger is battered with a highly-seasoned and spicy coating, with a generous slathering of spicy chipotle mayo. The cheese, lettuce, and tomato round out an amazing burger.

Fellow diner said that their burrito was "In..." chew chew "...credible", and the poutine demanded a fork to get every last piece of delicious cheese...
