Kirribilli Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sydney

Honestly this pizza isn’t good.

For context I used to manage a pizza shop for 2 years and worked in hospitality for 12 years previously.

So I understand from different perspectives.

We also eat quite a lot of pizza from around the area and have been living here for nearly 6 years.

Now that I’ve set the scene,

I’ll go into what was wrong with it

— In comparison to the other shops around the area the pizza size:price ratio is way off. The pizza is too small and the number of toppings on it don’t match the value

— The base was soo thin you couldn’t even pick it up without it falling apart. I wouldn’t say paper but far too thin

— The chicken on the bbq chicken was cut into weird cubes that made it taste dry and they should go with pulled chicken. It cover a much larger surface area

— Because the base was soo thin the cheese completely overpowered the flavour and it tasted like you were eating cheese with toppings

— There was pretty much no bbq sauce on the bbq chicken pizza

— We even ordered it at 2pm in the afternoon which technically would be a down time where you can spend more time making a better product.

I don’t like writing these reviews but I’m doing so hopefully the shop will pick up its game

Because if you don’t know silent quitting is what kills small business so I want...

Horrible customer service. Me and my partner ordered from here via Uber Eats and after 45 minutes of the app saying waiting for a driver and time passing the shop closure, I rang the restaurant for them to tell me they can’t get an Uber driver and it would probably be 30-40 minutes until they could, so they asked if we could walk to collect it. We chose delivery because we were both ill in bed but my partner went to collect regardless as it was now 21:30pm and we just wanted to eat then go back to sleep. My partner turned up at the shop for them to ring me and say they can’t hand him the food now because an Uber has accepted the drive so we have to wait another 10 minutes for the driver to get there, before they can release the food to us ?? Honestly make it make sense.. obviously we told them how that doesn’t make sense since we’d paid the delivery fee in the uber eats order anyways (which they didn’t offer to refund). The worst communication ever. After all of this the pizza was cold and the cheese was squeaky which tells how long it was sat...

I am so so disappointed. I really like the food, but frankly the delivery and customer service tonight has been TERRIBLE. Ordered 1 pizza and a bottle of water at 7:05pm, expecting 8:05pm delivery. Called the restaurant at 8:20pm to check for any problems and asked when the delivery is likely to arrive. The restaurant said 8:40pm latest. 9pm rolls around and still no food! Called the store again, and was told the pizza had JUST left. I'm a pretty patient person, so the first call was no big deal. But being lied to is not on! If someone asks you for a realistic time to expect food, don't lie to them! Finally arrived at 9:15pm (2hours and 15 mins after the initial order). Also, it was cold when it got here. Tastes good after a bit of microwaving, but not enough to bring me back as a...
