The kind that makes you crave a whiskey and just 30 minutes of not being treated like an inconvenience. Enter Plan B burgers and Booze, where the customer service is as warm as a freezer burn, and the staff’s enthusiasm matches a sloth on sedatives. This was my third strike—because apparently, I’m a glutton for punishment. The two female bartenders (who, based on their demeanour, must have confused “hospitality” with “hostility”) were so deeply engrossed in their conversation that acknowledging my existence would’ve been a grave disruption. The two random dudes at the bar were friendlier—which says a lot, considering one of them looked like he’d just walked out of a True Detective interrogation. Then came the pièce de résistance: A food delivery guy—just doing his job—was greeted with all the warmth of a drill sergeant. No eye contact, just a barked “Down the back, buddy.” I half-expected her to toss him a rifle and order 20 push-ups. By 10:30 p.m., I was the last customer, vibing to The Cure (because, of course, good taste is subjective). But oh no—we can’t have joy here. Cue the abrupt switch to what I can only describe as angry dishwasher noises masquerading as music. Message received: “Leave, peasant.” And leave I did—without so much as a “Cheers, See ya” or even a sarcastic “Thanks for the company.”Just silence, like I’d imagined the whole ordeal.

Pros: Cheap whiskey (liquid courage to endure the service). The other patrons were nice (shoutout to my fellow sufferers). Cons: Staff who treat customers like an IRS audit. A vibe so cold, it could reverse global warming. More 1-star reviews than a taxidermy Yelp page (trend spotted). Final Verdict: Life’s too short for bad whiskey and even worse service. PLAN B, your staff’s “too cool for school”act isn’t edgy—it’s just bad business. Fix it, or enjoy your “mystery”1-star collection growing faster than your regret. P.S. Unhelpful and arrogant customer service from the staff member from our visit. We were a group of 4, and one of us had dietary requirements. Twice he went inside to ask the lady if they could help provide an alternative, but the answer was just no. Instead of leaving, he ordered all 3 of us burgers, fries and drinks and no food for himself. I decided to go get him some food elsewhere since they cared so little and he paid for all our meals. Then, when we all had our food the lady who took his order, had the nerve to come over to us all high and mighty and start "quoting" their restaurant policy about no outside food allowed, and that he has to leave the restaurant! How can someone not realise this is the person you just said no to twice and he ordered 3 burgers, not 4 for a reason. My friend didn't touch his food at all. We all finished our meals swiftly and left thinking where do these waitresses and waiters get their arrogance from? How can they be so lazy but then when it comes to policy all of a sudden they're arrogant energy comes out. It's either coming down from management or they have no idea this is how their staff are...

I ordered from Plan B today and must say i was extremely disappointed especially after hearing such great things. I ordered the chicken wings and the double beef burger. The chicken wings were an extremely sad excuse for what a good wing is, they were the tiniest wings ive ever seen in my life with hardly any meat on them, and charging 14$ for the wings was a robbery. I do not recommend to order the wings from plan B as you will most definitely be disappointed. The flavour of the buffalo sauce was good, no complaints there. The double beef burger was a great size and looked great, it had lettuce tomato and onions and they werent shy with the toppings, however the let down was the beef patties itself. They were extremely bland and definitely were not seasoned with any salt whatsoever. While i appreciate a good fat to meat ratio in a beef patty unfortunately the beef patties contained a high amount of grissle which kept getting stuck in my teeth.
