Ribs & Burgers Chatswood — Restaurant in Sydney

This is mainly to complain how the manager in the store handles customer concern, not the food. My boy loves the burger in the store, but only for one type of burger in kids meal, for that type of beef and bun, which are only available in kids meal, not separate burger. So for the past over one year, we always came to this store for the same kids meal on Mondays. One Monday 3 weeks ago, I was talking to the girl while waiting for the food, saying I didn't want the boy to have so many fries, but the burger he prefers only exist in kids meal with fries. The girl was told me we could swap the fries to salad. That was wonderful, and for the next 3 weeks, we ordered the same meal and asked to swap fries to salad and it all worked. However today the girl at check said they could not do that for us and needed to talk to their manager. The manager called Jennifer said they could not do that for me. I said it was a bit confusing as it was not me who proposed to swap fries with salad in the first place, it was the girl in your store, and for past 3 weeks, it all worked, and why all of the sudden it's not working today. She said salad was more expensive than fries, and I said I could understand, then I am ok to swap with like apple juice which is cheaper than fries. She still said no they could not do it, but could not explain anything. I said we were a loyal customer coming back every Monday for the same meal, and that didn't work at all. Jennifer and her team just said they could not do that for us. That is super confusing and frustrating, to have people in their store delivering inconsistent messages, and the manager didn't have right communication skill to explain or handle customer in the right way. Service here is top notch. Greeted by thank you, welcome, efficiency and politeness. It's a bit confusing at first when you come to dine in. Their system is to pay at the counter, you can either sit down first or pay first.

Pork Ribs baby backs were so tender and juicy, it's going to be hard to go back to the original. The sauce they cover the ribs is delicious, with a familiar taste.

You'll either love or hate the onion rings. I prefer mine to be thicker and have more onion flavour but if you like salty batter then you will like these. The apple slaw/salad is great, refreshing side to go with the ribs.

The chicken wings were blazing hot with a great sauce. I wish they lathered the chicken wings with their chilli sauce because that has some amazing kick to it,jist not enough! Might not be able to taste anything after though...

This place is well serviced,Tabasco sauce, hp sauce are all available. There's even a basin to wash your hands after licking your juicy sauce covered fingers! Will come again for sure. Pleasant experience after being Hurricane'd out of...

Pro Service was very good. Courteous, quick. Seating was comfortable and it was a good temperature You can order from the table, so no standing in line if you are going to take some time My Classic Cheeseburger was nice. Very small but still good taste.

Not so Pro Food servings were small. The burger, the ribs, the chips, for what you pay, you expect a little more. Especially if its a meal for 2 for $60 Food was average in taste (in general) Thickshake was $8 but not worth it. McDonalds is better Chips were avg

Con Restroom was outside, so you had to walk out to wash your hands. Probably a venue thing but not favorable for the experience. Wings were pretty bad, you could make better wings from pre-marinated ones from a frozen section in a supermarket

I wouldnt go back. Have heard Betty's burgers is similar pricing and better value. Also cant go wrong with food trucks (except for seating). In saying that, much better than Grill'd

I dont blame the franchise, the realestate cost and franchise fees in Australia...
