Woodfired Pizza & Kebab North Willoughby — Restaurant in Sydney

I used to love this place.. not sure if ownership has changed but went there for a kebab and it was the worst one I have ever had... I'm pretty sure I will have food poisoning tomorrow as the meat didn't taste right, so didn't finish eating it. The lettuce was gritty with dirt, and the kebab was sloppy and fell apart.

Not only that, but they were getting every order wrong when I was there. This poor man came in to collect his pizza, two garlic breads and chips. His pizza and garlic bread was ready... well one garlic bread not two, and no chips... they still had to cook the chips.

He then returned back to the shop 10 minutes later with the pizza as they had given him the wrong one. Now this isn't where this story ends.

The man told them not to reuse the pizza as he had touched it... and the guy cooking the pizzas said "ok"... but as soon as the guy left, he put the pizza back on a pizza tray, and put it back into the oven to re-heat.

I noticed him doing this and thought I would keep an eye on it. He took the old pizza out of the oven, and put it back in the box that was returned.... and put it up in the area for collection... which means that the pizza was going to be used for somebody else's order.

I said something to them, and they insisted that the pizza wasn't going to be used even though it was sitting with a snack pack and garlic bread, and when an Uber Driver came in to collect his delivery order, they tried to give him the pizza along with the snack pack and garlic bread.

I again stood up and told them that they can't use that pizza, so they told the Uber Driver that the delivery wasn't ready and that it would be 10 minutes.

They put the pizza up out of the way still in the box.

My order was then ready, so I took it and left. I felt really disgusted at their attempted behaviour of trying to reuse a pizza and give it to another customer, that I really felt like chucking my kebab away... wish I had, because it was absolutely disgusting... the worst that I have had.

I cannot believe that they have no health concerns and attempted to reuse a pizza that was touched by another customer...

I will never ever purchase from that shop again... due to their attitudes and the fact that they have no health concerns for their customers.

As another customer said to me before I left "they will end up killing somebody one day with their food"...

I wouldn't be surprised if that happens soon with the way that they were treating their food and their customers.

I think a visit from the health department is needed at this place before somebody seriously...

My partner and I use to go here all the time until tonight. We had to wait an hour for 2 kebabs and 1 large chips for them to have ruined one of our kebabs which was a beef kebab with the lot and BBQ and garlic sauce. They had put homus on it when I didn’t want it on my kebab so I called them and told them that they made a mistake in making my order and I told them what was meant to be on it and I got shunned down and told that the lot includes the homus and they didn’t want want to refund me or make a new one for me. I managed to get them to make a new one but we had to drive all the way out there to get it. Which was so pointless of even getting delivery in the first place. But what annoyed me the most about this experience is that I have been going there for years and I have never had a problem with them until now and to be told that the lot has always included homus when it doesn’t and there isn’t anywhere on their menu board that states that homus is included in the lot. It actually states that...

We are locals and these Kebab taste okayyyy ! But the service is the most apaling!! "Because [they] had a lot of orders" our kebab were served to us cold. I asked to have them warmed up after having 2 bites. They did not even bother to touch how warm/cold our kebabs were. "You can see how busy we are" is what they said. We said that we understand and that we are willing to wait if they can simply warm the sandwiches. The sandwich staff said they would give us a new sandwich and that they apologized... Awesome!! Here's the kicker: The OWNER/MANAGER disagreed and told his staff to only warm up the kebabs. (The chips by the way, came very late; again because they were busy!!) When we asked why there was a change of offer (from making a new order back to simply warming our half eaten cold kebabs), the OWNER/MANAGER said: "If you are not happy, leave!" Yes their kebab taste Okayyyy. But, their customer service and customer relationship is the worst...
