Antos Pizzeria & Pasta North Willoughby — Restaurant in Sydney

This is our favourite local pizza restaurant & after an ordering mishap & the way they managed it, I doubt we will want to eat there again.

Ordered through Deliveroo, meal deal with 1.25lt drink. Driver arrives with no drink, he says there wasn’t one included. I called the restaurant to ask what happened & the lady who answered said the delivery driver forgot to take it & she will give it to us next time. I asked how she will do that if I havent identified myself yet & she said “it’s only a can”! I said it’s a bottle & she became rude about giving it to us next time. I asked her why she is the one being rude when I’m calling with the issue & she didn’t like that at all. Anto, we love your restaurant but whoever is answering your phones shouldn’t be speaking to customers. Your great pizza is now going to taste terrible tonight......

Super disappointed with our recent takeout experience. We've been a loyal customer for years, but our most recent order will be our last.

It was minor mishap that I would have ignored, had the poor customer service (i.e. lack of apology and accountability, being told to just "pick off" the topping I had specifically requested to be excluded because that was the Anto's special, after initially insisting that there were no olives until I offered to send photos) not ensued.

In addition, the lasagna (in photo) lacked any care, being quite sloppy and overly sweet, with no tomato flavour despite the meager dash of sauce...
