Awful service. We ordered two coffee and stood at the pick up counter. I saw a female staff was happily chatting with her colleague while she was making coffee. She looked very happy with all the bright smile and laughs when she was chatting with her colleague. While we were waiting for our coffee, one customer asked her politely where she can find a straw as she picked up her coffee. Then the happily giggled staff suddenly changed a face and cold-replied by just saying "behind you." as if the customer is disrupting her work by asking unnecessary question and ruining her mood.
Anyway it was our turn and she made our coffee but she missed one of our orders (we order two coffee but she only gave us one). We waited a couple more minutes but she kept making another customers' orders. So we had to ask her about our missing order. Then again, she changed her face and replied back to us by just one word 'coming!' with annoyed tone. She obviously missed our order and made us wait but she never felt sorry and she even treated us like annoying creature which interrupts her happy little chic-chat. She is very talkative but only replies to her customer with a few words. Her attitude is like "Customers! Don't talk to me. Shut up, just get your coffee and walk away."
She must understand that she is working there for her customers. Without customers, her job simply does not exist. That is how and why she gets paid. Therefore, customers should be her first priority to take care of. I visited many Starbucks coffee shops in different countries and normally Starbucks has excellent level of customer service, especially in Asian countries like Japan and S. Korea. Read moreWow. This store has some serious issues with customer service. I wanted to order two coffees in this morning and saw "honey comb caramel latte". I was ordering one without whipp cream and dairy and I couldn't hear the staff properly as he mumbled a bit. I thought he said caramel macchiato would be one without whip cream. So I thought I just ordered caramel macchiato instead of honey comb drink. When the order came out, it was three drinks and I told them there must have been a miscommunication as I only ordered two drinks. But they strongly insisting that I ordered three, even the manager came out claiming that I ordered three drinks and suddenly changed my mind to get a refund. Which was a super ridiculous claim. I went arguing about "How I didn't order three drinks and didn't change my mind at all." I only wanted two drinks and they basically accused me of lying. This shop made me a liar because of one coffee, and I really couldn't believe it. Wow. they said they aren't going to accept any responsibilities because I changed my mind. - this guy called Daniel who is a store manager was fully convinced by the story that I changed my mind which he created. It was really impossible to talk. He said just drink three coffees and good luck with a condescending manner.
I've never had to deal with this sort of patronising attitude from any other business. I would never expect such a big global business would treat a customer like this. Read moreVery rude employees! I went there with my friend, firstly we were ignored by the staff for quite a while. Eventually one of the staff members asked for our order and my friend ordered her drink. While we have been waiting to be noticed, a queue had lined up behind us. I was standing directly behind my friend but the lady at the counter decided to ignore me once again and turn to the next costumer instead. After she ignored me for further 5 minutes I asked politely if I could place an order since my friend had already been waiting for me. She just said „the line is over there“ and pointed to the end of the queue, wanting me to wait for another 10-15 minutes. I tried to explain to her that she had served my friend and overlooked me but she was so rude and told me to go to the end of line! I didn’t want to make a fuss and embarrass my friend so I just walked away without a drink... This is AWFUL costumer service! She could have just admitted that he made a mistake, even the other costumers had noted that I was being ignored. I will never ever go there again!
