Recently refurbished store, but beware the modified menu which has removed all transparency in pricing. A sandwich consisting of 2 slices of bread (incl. butter), chicken schnitzel, 4 slices of tomato, lettuce, grated carrot, and salt / pepper = $10.
Each salad item was charged individually at $1. So 4 slices of tomato = $1.
They use 457 VISA holders as cheap labor to produce sandwiches which they sell for $10. Forget the banking royal commission, there should be a royal commission into North Sydney sandwich shops and the outrageous gouging.
I would encourage everyone to walk into the IGA store next door to this place, where you can buy a $5 sandwich that has the same ingredients and is made fresh by the staff in store.

This cafe is very good because it actually keeps up with the hustle of North Sydney CBD. With about 4 staff on at all times it allows for your order, food or drink to be processed fast and served to you. There are other cafes where there are just two people.
