I used to come here from time to time with friends from work last year. Currently it’s under new management. I called earlier to order Shanklish but unfortunately when I came to eat this the dough was raw inside the pocket. It was also quite watery abs the contents kept falling out. I asked for a new one and they gave me one after a long wait. I’m on a time limited lunch break abs walked all the way here just to have this. I did not know it was under different management. The second one they sent was more cooked but still raw dough inside the pocket. I had asked for a fork. She did not bring. It was messy eating this and before it never was. I am not sure I’ll come back next time. I mean compared to last time this place was packed last time compared to now. I found the customer service not very friendly at all and hope they improve . Overall the meal was ok but so runny and I would have appreciated less mess . I still recommend you try this place as I’m sure their other dishes are nice. Maybe if I come by next time I’ll get exactly...
Read moreI tried the Zaatar and Kofta roll (with lamb), both are so good. The Zaatar seasoning is slightly tangy and crunchy due to the sesame seeds, sandwiched between hot and fresh flatbread, it is delicious as breakfast or a snack. The kofta roll was filled with lamb kofta, lettuce and tomatoes, again the standout was the fresh, soft, slightly chewy flatbread. There is a giant oven in the store where the flatbreads are baked to order. The lamb was nicely spiced but I felt the wrap could be improved with a bit more sauce. I would definitely return to try the falafel roll and pizzas. Zaatar was $3 and the kofta roll was $9 - you may need to bring cash as the eftpos...
Read moreI have been frequenting Oregano and Oil on and off for years. The customer service is always outstanding and super friendly. The food is incredible. I am not exaggerating when I say that Oregano and Oil has the best felafal roll in Sydney. The bread is all hand made in store. The falafel is soft and fluffy on the inside and beautifully crisp on the outside. The vegetables and sauce compliments the falafels perfectly. For a real treat, I like to have a felafal roll on za’atar bread. It is to die for. The pizza at Oregano and Oil is also really flavoursome. I would seriously recommend a visit to Blacktown just to visit...
