Zambrero North Penrith — Restaurant in Sydney

Firstly, I LOVE Zambrero burritos. My local at Marsden Park have high standards and I’ve never had a bad experience there in 3 years. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the North Penrith franchise. This was our second time here and it will be the last. The first time wasn’t great but I’m all for second chances but we will not return here again. Today, my husband and I ordered 2 burritos, 1 vegan and 1 chicken. The server proceeded to make both burritos…with the teeniest tiniest scraping of beans and little half scoops of rice. She clearly has no idea of what ingredients go on a vegan burrito. She slapped a spoonful of sour cream on the vegan one and when we pointed out to her sour cream is not vegan she looked stunned. Only after she scraped the sour cream off with her finger did she ask if we wanted her to start a new one, my hubby being the polite guy he is said no it’s fine. He mentioned to her that she’d forgotten the guacamole…with a confused look on her face she said “oh does it”? When she handed us the burritos we asked which one was the vegan one and guess what, my husband had his first bite of chicken in 5 years. I ended up chucking my chicken burrito in the bin half way through, the ingredients weren’t the freshest and the chicken was tasteless and didn’t appear to be cooked through. The Oporto meal from next door was much nicer. Oh and then there’s the bathroom 🤦🏻‍♀️…absolutely...

Shockingly bad. I agree with the person who said have you ever walked into a place and thought you should’ve done a 180 and leave. I walked in because the drive thru was not moving. I was the only person in the store. I looked at the menu prior to walking in so I knew what to order. I asked for a power burrito. They young employee looked at me and started making the burrito. She said “so just a regular?” I said “um no, the power burrito that’s on your website” she continued to just make a normal burrito and tried to confirm it was a regular burrito I was after and in the end because it was too hard for her to understand and too late for her to make what I wanted I just said yeah whatever a normal burrito with chicken please. I watched her make my burrito. And I’m not kidding when I say I think I got 0.5g of beans and maybe 2 pieces of chicken on that burrito. I asked her what sauces there were and she mumbled back some names which I didn’t hear so I said I usually get the verde one I think it’s the hot one she said oh we have sweet chilli. Hi i am regular customer when i dine in then experience is wonderful but few time i did not get time so i order pick up on app. One time i order big signature burrito but when i open it at home it was classic burrito. Last night on 1july at 9.10pm order number#3785 i order small signature burrito vegetarian double beans and double rise with extra garlic sauce. I also mentioned in order please make sure its signature burrito with extra garlic sauce. But when i open it at home it was small burrito with spicy cauliflower and it was normal salsa not IQ salsa which included in signature burrito only 1 sauce in it.even i left note this careless behaviour break my heart as i paid extra and not get what i want its 2nd time happen. If management can fix it will be great. I give good rating only as experience of dine in....
