There are limited restaurants open late evening, this is one of the available option. There's pub, pool table and games, which are good and lively... It is a good place to hang out with a group of friends. The service is OK, servers are with smiling face which is welcoming for tourists. Area of improvement would be its food. Prawn pizza was okay, pumpkin soup was a little diluted and salty, pork with good flavouring, but texture wise was a little dry, it would be nicer to have some gravy for the mashed potatoes.

This place food is not good whatsoever. My drink was 90% ice and steak was extremely overcooked. My friends roast was like jelly. We had to serve ourselves since there were no waiters around and get our own menus, water, cutlery, ect. There was also a baby crying. I do not recommend and as a local will not be coming again.

This place deserves a 5 star review because it is one of the only restaurants open on a public holiday, offered 4 vegetarian options and the parmy was yummy. This place accepts walk ins and did I mention the view of the beautiful bay.

Avoid avoid avoid.

It’s rare, in fact I’d say I don’t give 1 star reviews, however the food that was served to us tonight was under par. The salad was warm, soft and had no dressing. The portion sizes were really not what I’d expect from a pub type affair. Thee fishermans basket was not matching the menu, the steak was well under rare, and the other fish and chips were not at all good. The chips were cold and when we asked for a replacement we received the same stone cold soggy chips. Coming to a fishing village where once fresh fish was on every menu we had pre battered frozen. A local of 40 years took us and she was totally embarrassed. There wasn’t a local to be seen which I think is always a bad sign. The manager Clay honestly tried his best but was unable to give us a discount, food voucher? Refund. He was offering a free round of drinks. On a food bill of more than $100 for three this is at best a reasonable price if the food was up to standard. So Clay you have your work cut out for you, find out where the problem is and please look at putting correct food practices in place. I hope you rwmemner the local who came in and look after her and future guests correctly. I will welcome feed back from the owners. Guys!!! Step up your game. Good luck 🍀

Oh and one last thing we say at a table and the. We’re asked to move in fact we’re accused of removing a reserved sign, oh please who would do that. We were not feeling welcomed or comfortable. We were also told of a 30 minute wait which ended up being 55 minutes....

Just walked into an empty bistro, sat down at a non reserved table proceeded to ask staff if we could use one of the free high chairs to be asked quite rudely by an older lady "do you have a booking, you need a booking?" I looked around the empty restaurant and said ok and proceeded to the bar to make a booking to which I was as advised they have no availability but maybe between 630-7, she took my details and was advised she will call us. We looked around the empty restaurant again and left back to our room. Ordered room service as we are staying there (same kitchen/ restaurant), my partner called the restaurant to cancel us from the wait list to which the lady had no idea. The venue needs a complete upgrade, along with the staff. Upon the food arriving, we were quite underwhelmed with our food, my partner order the scallops for $31- which came deep fried with a bed a spinach and coleslaw mix? The lemons still had all the seeds (rookie error). I had the chicken schnitzel- with frozen veg and choice of sauce which was plain gravy or plain gravy. Better off going to the IGA...

I love a good pub roast or a schnitzel so I ordered the ‘pub roast’ and it was not even a ‘roast’, a huge lump of dry mashed potato with what seemed to be bought pre cooked seasoned pork pieces and steamed veggies, bland and tasteless disappointment! Not worth even talking about the other three meals our family purchased!!! Disappointing overcooked, bland food all around!!!!the dessert we ordered summed up our experience! The ‘choc o’ love’ was a disappointing rip off!!!!$15 per person for icy ice cream with choc topping and bizarre bite size pieces of chocolate slice, topped with a very skillful scattering of crushed peanuts! Skillful as there was such a small scattering of nuts, you could count them on one hand!!! Much much much room for improvement here!!! Stick with the basics and do these really well!!!! Stick to the IGA as an alternative to...
