Nestled in the picturesque seaside town of Bicheno, The Farm Shed Wine House is an absolute gem that should not be overlooked during your visit to Tasmania. Offering a delightful wine and beer tasting experience, this establishment is a must-visit for those looking to explore the local flavors.

Luke's expertise in wines and beers truly elevates the tasting experience, providing guests with valuable insights into the world of local wines. With options like the wine tasting at $29 and beer paddle at $19, indulging in these tastings is not only an enriching experience but also budget-friendly.

Conveniently located close to the town, The Farm Shed boasts a remarkable variety of wines and locally brewed beers that are sure to please any discerning palate. The clean and tidy environment, coupled with the warm and cozy ambiance, creates the perfect setting for an evening filled with exceptional service and knowledge from the staff.

Step inside, and you'll find an intriguing, modern interior adorned with well-crafted timber furniture that adds a touch of sophistication to the atmosphere. The inner workings of the brewery are proudly displayed, offering a fascinating glimpse into the craft behind the beverages you're enjoying.

Don't miss the chance to indulge in the amazing charcuterie platter that beautifully complements the wine and whisky tastings.

One of the highlights of The Farm Shed is the opportunity to sample products that are not easily accessible elsewhere. Pairing each tasting with some olives adds a delightful touch to the experience. What's more, the staff's informative approach ensures that you leave with a newfound appreciation for the quality offerings.

Choosing to visit before lunch ensures a more relaxed and intimate experience, allowing you to savor each tasting at your own pace without feeling rushed. Mark my words, this world-class facility is a fabulous place to visit and guarantees an overall enjoyable time for anyone seeking a unique tasting adventure in Bicheno. Rest assured, I will be returning, and I wholeheartedly encourage others to include The Farm Shed Wine House in their travel plans when exploring...

We came to Bicheno for a rare holiday getaway, hoping to relax and enjoy the moment. While walking down the street, we were instantly drawn to this bar by its unique and eye-catching decor. From the outside to the inside, you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design. The space was filled with all kinds of alcohol and brewing equipment, and the atmosphere was just fantastic.

At first, we only planned to have a quick look and leave. But then a friendly male staff member greeted us warmly, and it immediately lifted our mood. He patiently introduced the different types of beer, and we ended up spontaneously ordering four different varieties to try. To our surprise, the beers were quite special and full of character.

We also noticed some cool hoodies and T-shirts they had designed themselves — we loved them at first sight and wanted to buy a few, but unfortunately, they didn’t have our sizes.

Before leaving, we decided to grab some beers to take with us. However, this time we were served by a female staff member whose attitude felt noticeably less friendly, which was a bit of a shame and made us decide to leave without purchasing more.

Still, overall it was a great experience — a place well worth visiting to admire the space and enjoy a...

The service was unbelievably rude! Both staff members spoke over us, pushed us to the back of the space, wouldn’t answer any questions. Told us to go look at the items they were selling and then told us we had to buy them as we had touched them (a calendar and a card wrapped in plastic). There was no mention of not touching. We tried to get advice on cellar doors to go to on the east coast and were told figure it out for ourselves. I have never posted a review but I felt it necessary. No one looked happy in there. We were so excited to go to this place and every second were made to feel unwelcome. So in the end we bought the items we touched and didn’t do a tasting. It was easier than conversing any further. I know everyone has bad days but both staff members were extremely rude....

We had been looking for a way to taste wines from the region and had seen the Google reviews. We then tasted some wines and also 4 gins and were so enthusiastic about Subi's and Helen's kind and the knowledge about the region that we went to a second gin tasting the next day. They are super cordial and have a great knowledge of the region and the local people who make the wines and gin's. Small canapés were also served during the rehearsals. In addition there was also a delivery service to Sydney so we didn't have to worry about the beautiful bottles in our luggage. We recommend The Farm Shed to anyone who is in Bicheno and likes wine and/or gin.

My husband and I popped in today when we had time to kill before heading to Freycinet. We loved our experience here! Susan and Deb were so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We did a gin tasting - trying 6 different Tasmanian gins. Susan and Deb picked a variety for us and their knowledge on all the different distilleries, flavours and backstories was impressive. It was a great way to try the gins we hadn’t been to yet and they do the same for wines and whiskeys. Our paddle came with tonic, olives and nuts for $25. Would definitely recommend for a hospitable experience! Grab a sausage roll from the bakery afterwards - also great!
