Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Bay Leaf Cafe, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
First off, kudos to the staff for their exceptional customer service. I encountered a small issue with a gift voucher, and the team at Bay Leaf handled it with such professionalism and kindness. They were not only quick to sort out the confusion but did so with a smile, making the whole ordeal feel like a non-issue.
Now, let's talk about the food. The chef at Bay Leaf deserves a round of applause. The seared snapper was nothing short of divine; it was perfectly cooked with a crisp exterior and tender, flavorful flesh that melted in your mouth. And the homemade sausage roll? It was a delightful surprise with its flaky pastry and rich, savory filling - definitely a highlight of the meal.
The coffee was another star of the show. Fabulous is an understatement; each cup was brewed to perfection, providing that comforting warmth and robust flavor that coffee lovers yearn for.

Read moreSummary Currently my favourite breakfast place, eggs benedict is amazing, great coffee, great customer service,
Detailed Weekend before last was super busy and there was a small order mix up but staff resolved it quickly and professionally. The bacon was scortched and tasted slightly acrid. Not enough to not eat but I suspect the kitchen was a little overwhelmed given the normally excellent food.
Really like the gentleman waiter we have had recently very professional and a great addition to the team.
We sat on a table next to the deli window which made us feel a little like zoo animals, was my decision to sit there just letting people know what that seating location experience is like. I enjoyed the chill crab scrambled eggs, my second favourite brwaky dish there so far, eggs benedict is my favourite.
The food is amazing here, from large sliced bread for a chicken schnitzel sandwich or Arancini balls, the lemon with a little paprika and the rosti on the eggs bendict is a nice touch, the Nigela seeds on the lime in the chilli crab scrambled eggs was also a way to lift an already amazing dish.
Outdoor seating is great albeit a little cold in winter.
Last few time I have had a small wait under 5 mins due to the how busy they were.
Will be back and will have to take some photos to...
