Lorne Bowls Club — Restaurant in Victoria

Our family had dinner at the Lorne bowls club last week . It was a family group Grandparents down to five years old . What a warm and cosy atmosphere, with eclectic decor , beautiful flower arrangements, kids corner and outdoor activities, music and more- The staff are efficient and super friendly. If this wasn’t enough . The food: It was magnificent I had the pasta with seafood , in a crayfish bisque they were able to prepare it without chilli and garlic for me.The flavour was so delicate and smooth I would say equals any 5 star restaurant .I still think of those flavours . The sides char grilled broccolini , fries and salad also fresh and perfect. Fresh bread to the table is delicious and a lovely touch . We all had different things and all went home raving about it . The kids meals were great as well.Ice cream served in cups was a fun finish for them . The price is also very reasonable making it even more appealing.

It was so good that we went back , taking friends as well .It was just as good as our first visit .Our friend were just as impressed. We also had desert this time Tiramisu , delicious. Followed by a game of bowls to add to the fun . It felt like we were coming home. I rate every aspect of this...

Really dissapointed with the service that was provided today. Tried to call to book lawn bowls, there was no answer so called about 10 more times and finally answered. The man on the phone said to come down at 3 as thats when they start to play, he said we could play untill 10 as they have lights provided, when we arrived we where greeted by a man named Jeff who had no customer service and was very rude. We played untill about 4.30 and he came out and told us to leave. Which was very confusing as we were told we could play untill 10. Jeff was happy to take our money but didnt provide a nice atmosphere or provide a good quality service. He was so dissrespectful and has let his whole community down with such a disgusting attitude towards tourists. I will not recommend this place to anyone please dont waste your money or time here as all he wants to do is...

This is a gorgeous restaurant in a top spot. It is not normally what you see for a lawn bowls club. It has a lovely view of the bowling green and beautiful atmosphere inside. The outstanding feature is the staff who are professional, and competent; they cannot do enough to help. The food is very fancy and quite unique as well.
