Valentine's Bakehouse — Restaurant in Victoria

Went to the other side of North east Victoria's beautiful town Rutherglan with my wife and son. We were wandering on main street for morning coffee, as soon as I reached Valentine's Bakehouse, I could literally smell the aroma of their coffee and freshly baked breads. We could not hold ourself as we both love a really good coffee and we went in. The bakehouse is beautiful. I had mine large latte in take away yummy chicken mayo cheese sandwich and my wife had medioum cappuccino and avocado sandwiche and we loved everything we had. At last I wanted something for my sweet tooth, so I had flourless orange cake and straight away I fell in love with the cake.

Stopped by here for some breakfast, for the size of the place, was expecting abit more on the menu than some meat pies and panini's. Not dissapointing food wise but underwhelming, ordered a mexican pie, 10 minutes later get told they dont have any, declined another pie and figured I'll get something to eat later, literally 1 minute later, I came across Parker pies that just turned my world upside down with the best ever pie's I ever had so no mexican pie was infact a blessing in disguise!

The double espresso coffee was good and the staff are super friendly, their smiles in the morning will brighten...

My family and I’s experience with Isobel’s customer service was extremely disappointing. She was unpleasant and unprofessional when taking my order for a simple coffee and toastie, which made for an uncomfortable experience.

I understand that working on a Sunday can be difficult, but to be this rude towards every customer who entered is extremely poor.

While the food was excellent, the poor service overshadowed the visit, and unfortunately, I will not...
