Been wanting to try Cafe Lucia in West Perth for awhile seeing great reviews & seeing pics from Instagram. So took my teen son for a dinner last Saturday - no booking but as we were there around 5.30pm we were welcomed & given a lovely table for 2 by the window.
I highly recommend this place. The food was amazing. Really delicious depth of flavour in all the dishes, we could tell to their attention to details & their cooking crafts. Everything were seasoned just right.
My son ordered the 450g rib eye steak & ordered as he likes them : medium rare. He was offered either salad or chips & of course we all know what he’d opted for! 🤣 So chips aside but we were still offered the salad on the side which I also chose to have. I ordered the special of the night which was Field Mushroom with olive oil dressed with chilli & garlic.
Everything were beautifully presented, steak cooked to perfection & so was the mushroom. Chips were wonderfully tasty & crispy. Salad was crisp, fresh & was not drenched in much dressing which I enjoyed!
Price wise it's definitely in the mid-upper range but at par with most restaurants but we were both truly enjoyed everything. Our bill for the night was $105 which included a glass of lemon lime bitter.
The setting is beautiful, simple but not cluttered. We loved the white table cloths on tables which made it extra special 😍
The service also need to be commended, all the staff is friendly, attentive and engaging - must make a special mention to Christian who was such an incredible host! Wish all restaurants would have someone like him! Very caring, attentive & thoughtful 👌
We can’t wait to go back to try more dishes! We were too full to try desserts but would love to try the tiramisu as they didn’t have that available on that night.
Thank you Cafe Lucia, Christian & all the staff, well done & keep up the...

Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at cafe Lucia two weeks in a row, and it exceeded all expectations! The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home.
But the real star of the show was the food - oh, the food! I ordered the shark bay prawn, steak, and all types pasta for sharing, and it was absolute perfection. The flavors were expertly balanced, with each component complementing the others beautifully. The prawns were succulent, the steak tender, and the pasta cooked to al dente perfection. Can’t wait to come back for more.
The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was stunning. I couldn't fault a single aspect of the dish.
