I honestly don't know where to start. This isn't even a review. This is a heartbreaking story about a man left in cold, strung along by a big corporation multiple times. They could probably make a movie out of this. One that leaves you in my shoes afterwards, trying to hold back tears while you leave the theatre. I didn't hold back my tears. Last night I was held captive by starvation with dominos being my saving angel, light at the end of the tunnel. I ordered around 10pm and I was genuinely excited. I was really looking forward to pizza and dessert afterwards. This was a $50 order just to clarify I was not playing around. I didn't intend to share but I got enough for friends to share too. I knew not a single crumb would be wasted, no doubt of it at all. That's how hungry I was, in fact I am still hungry. I have had hunger pains and mood dysregulation ever since last night. At 11:40PM I called Dominos Kalamunda and had my friend Abby talk as I was too hungry to speak. The type of hunger where you start to feel weak and lose your appetite. Do you know that feeling? I hadn't eaten since 11AM. So she speaks to them and they say they are busy but reassure her that it's coming. Meanwhile my UberEats app is already asking my how my meal tastes. Was that a sick joke I just didn't get? I am still so angry and frustrated now. I had to go to work the next morning and the fact that it was taking so long for the order meant that it was keeping me awake. Dominos Kalamunda likes to test the human breakpoint. Sleep deprivation and hunger, a dangerous combination. It makes you think about things you don't want to think about. It makes you want to do things to certain people that you wouldn't normally. It makes everything irritate you. It's like there is a massive pressure in your brain about to blow the cap of your bloody skull. I had never waited this long for an Uber. I get the fact that it was a Friday night and you were busy, but can you anticipate that? The fact that you have a 3 star rating already makes me think you might want to consider a different franchise, maybe even a different profession. Food for thought. All I could think about. Meanwhile every minute I could feel my stomach shrinking, eating itself while the anxiety ate away at my sanity. I honestly think my personality has changed now, I am a different person to who I was before last night and it scares me. Next time, don't accept the order if you can't complete it within a set time. The app told me it'd be here at 11PM latest, it was almost 12AM and I thought I'd call again clinging onto the false hope that they were on their way. The man picks up the phone and says 20 minutes. I say thank you. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. But I am yet to be fed. I might donate to world hunger after experiencing starvation first hand. Food for thought. If only I could. This part in the story is where my memory gets a bit hazy, I had been awake for 18 hours and last meal was 13 hours ago. I just remember desperately roaming outside like a zombie thinking it had already been delivered but I had found nothing. Nothingness like the souls of Kalamunda Dominos employees. I can't forgive you for that.
If I knew this was going to happen I would have just driven somewhere else to get food. But you guys lied to me. I gave you multiple chances and you lied. I don't think I will ever go to Dominos Kalamunda for the purpose of food again. Next time I might go somewhere with a bit more integrity like a dirt road and eat some gravel. At least I know I won't be lied to twice. The disrespect. My emotions keep jumping from rage to sorrow and I try to contain it but it feels like gasoline has been poured on my back and set alight.
I would've loved to leave a real review on the food quality. Here's a few recommendations from me:
-Don't lie to customers -Treat customers with respect -If you can't do something, let the customer know -Remove your store from the UberEats app -If you have already lied to a customer do not make any further lies -Upgrade your ordering system...

If you put as much effort into your customer service as you do into fabricating these lies, perhaps your business would have a better reputation.
As mentioned, we were in store to collect an order that WE PAID FOR!
For the record, you "caused the scene" I simply mentioned how disappointing it was that you refused to honour my sons voucher and then you snapped. Nobody deserves to be spoken to the way you spoke to me that day, especially a PAYING customer.
The issue here is not a free pizza but the despicable and disrespectful behaviour from you towards your customers and community that you claim to "support" and now the rudeness continues via the keyboard.
I dont have to try to bring this business into disrepute, you're doing a great job at that all by yourselves.
If you cannot handle negative feedback, perhaps don't give people a reason to provide it.
You'll be needing that luck you're wishing me, so please keep it!
UPDATED: Thanks for your stock standard, cut & paste response Dominos. I have contacted the store directly (which you would know if you had bothered to read my review in the first place) It seems that they couldn't care any less!!
Do yourselves a favour and get your pizzas elsewhere. Do not waste your time supporting Dominos Kalamunda. The quality of the pizzas is below average and the service is woeful.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. What a disgrace!
While in store to collect a prepaid online order, my 10 year old son wanted to redeem his “free pizza” that he won from his local football club last year. He’d been so excited for months to redeem this!
I received a number of invalid excuses from the employees about why they were unable to honour the free pizza.
Seeing my son’s disappointment, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the employee (Bianca L) and what followed was appalling.
She was extremely rude and argumentative towards me in front of other staff and patrons. I was asked, with attitude, “What do you think I owe you” as she proudly boasted about the stores generosity in gifting these certificates to the community.
This is hardly something to brag about when the store has no intention of honouring these “gifts”.
I followed up with some feedback directly to the store and received the same arrogance in response - “we do not owe you anything” (see attached)
I disagree that they don’t owe me anything. Some common decency and respect for their patrons and community would be a good start.
We WERE regular customers but it will be the last time they receive...
Read moreCustomer service wasn’t up to standard. Front of house girl that was working tonight was treated poorly by other workers while I was on the phone in middle of making my order she was rudely interrupted by other staff members. Not only that but arriving in store staff members were rude and dismissive. I phoned specifically about the vouchers I had and asked if I could use two at the same time, the girl said I could and this is why I proceeded with my order. When arriving into store the girl said I could only use one and I explained that I was told I could use the two on the phone and was told in a very unprofessional way that I couldn’t use them. Also while dealing with the til still wearing her gloves that she was handling food with and then proceeded back to handling the food with the same gloves. Mildly...
