One of the best places to enjoy food and refreshments in the main strip of Kalamunda. Always friendly, with a dynamic menu to suit all pallets, the staff at The Drop do a great job. Plenty of beers, wines and spirits available to go with your choice of pub food, or even a sit down family meal. Fridays and Saturdays regularly have live music, and there is even an upstairs meeting room if you want a cosy place to get together with a larger group. Heaps of street parking or more out the back, it's a great place to drop into next time you're in Kalamunda

We love it here at the best drop tavern! We come here regularly to eat as a family. The food is usually delicious (although it can be hit and miss at times) but comparatively to other pubs in the Kalamunda area, this is by far the best. I usually opt for the roast of the day or the butter chicken, but they always have so many different specials going (lunch specials, dinner of the day, curry of the day, fish of the day, roast of the week etc) that are worth trying too!

Beautiful venue with vintage theme; food and drinks are nice! Sunday roast is flavoursome and superb! The best Sunday roast I have ever tried! Fish is fresh and the side veggie is seasoned well! Ordered a fish dish then seeing staff serving the beef & Guinness pie which is so … attractive. Will be back for trying! Definitely a place to come. As after meal, you can stroll along the up & down hill roads or easily find somewhere nearby for a walk in the nature. 💝

Visited tonight for dinner. Ordered the “fish of the day” which was Crimson Snapper with 3 creamy garlic Prawns, Mash and steamed vegetables - $37. The Fish was so tough and resembled the leather sole of a shoe. The vegetables were very nice. I returned the 1 1/2 small fillets of fish to the kitchen with my complaint. I requested a partial refund as the fish was the most costly part of the meal. I spoke with who I believe was the female manager. I was told that no refund was possible as I had eaten part of the meal, which were the vegetables! This Manager then out of the goodness of her heart, offered me some chips or dessert to compensate me for the extremely poor quality fish I had paid $37 for. I explained I did not want chips and that was an insult to even compromise a $37 meal with $2 chips. I then asked for a credit to use at another time, but was told that was not possible. She suggested I could have something from the very limited (unless you want chips) starter menu. I chose the Yorkshire puddings filled with garlic mushrooms, cheese and green onions - sounded ok. I asked if I could have a side bowl of steamed vegetables, after all they were very nice! I was informed, no you will have to pay $6 more if you want them. Well the Yorkshire puddings came out, not a trace of Mushrooms in them, instead they were filled with pieces of Corned Silverside. Strangely the roast of the day was Corned Silverside, obviously had left overs so substituted the Mushroom filling with this. Overall very unhappy with the meal, the extremely rude and total lack of good Customer service experience given by the female Manager. My advice go...

Completely in awe how they could get things so wrong! Stopped in Sunday afternoon, was pretty quiet but there were a couple of other patrons eating. Grabbed drinks from the bar and decided to order a snack. Menu is very British, which we thought was cool. We decided to have a chip butty each. Ordered. While we were waiting we noticed the table beside us asking for a refund on their roast dinner, apparently everything was cold. Not a good omen. Our food came to the table. Don’t know what the hell had happened, we did not get 3 chip butties! 3 bowls of mediocre chips with bacon and sour cream. Not a chip butty in sight! There were no other orders that went through at the same time as ours. How does this happen? Bloody ridiculous. Feeble apology from the women there, did offer us 3 chip butties but we...

Well what can I say about this place... my misses and I came in for dinner ordered 3 entrees, 2 mains and a drink each. Well we had to wait a good half an hour before they finally brought out some food ! 2 entrees and my misses surf n turf... ???? No drinks and no serving of our THREE entrees first ! I had to wait another 5mins or so for my main.

As for my mrs's main well there veg consisted of Zucchini chunks and grated cooked carrot ??? The garlic sauce was very mild and tasted like cream with pretty much no garlic and the prawns had little to no taste. But she enjoyed it compared to the attfield taverns burnt leather boot.

Loved the mini yorkies and the burger.

All together poor service and we still did not get our third entree nor did we receive our drinks!

Highly...
