Went there today to beat the rush which I did, but as customers came in, it seems if you’re a “regular” then you get pushed in front of everyone else’s coffee being made. I had been waiting 10minutes there was only one person in front of me but regular customers walked in not only do they get to skip the queue but as they are known by name they also get their coffee before you do. 4 people walked in after me but the last behind the counter knew them by name pushed them in front of the queue and they got their coffee before me and walked out they didn’t even have to wait. That is unacceptable and shouldn’t be done they should be made to wait in line like everyone else!
As there is no reply button I’ve had to “edit” the post. Firstly I appreciate your time for replying, I get you have online orders but if you have customers in store it’s better to serve them first and do their orders first especially if it’s just one coffee to 4 coffees. As I got there just before your rush which gave me 10minutes spare I had a meeting at a certain time and only got to my meeting 2minutes before it started I only work across the road so not a long walk at all. So please don’t assume/estimate...

It usually is busy with a lot of local business men and women, but the employees and owner never loose the care for each drink and always serve each customer with the same standard. What I loved the most is that amongst the constant orders, they make an effort to remember my name and talk to me. It is really valuing! It shows that specialty coffee is still possible even in business/industrial areas. They serve Five Senses and have their own house blend which is delightful! Changes it up for me after drinking so much Five Senses around the city. Go have a taste, I always order and in house cappuccino, it's delicious and comes in...
Read moreThey wouldn’t let me buy a savoury muffin without buying a coffee. I went in with my baby on my way to art therapy, so I’m not the usual business type that goes in, I’m a new mum so I’m not working, my time is valuable and grabbing some breakfast is a small positive in my life atm. There was no signage and the staff member was so rude about it.
*edit It seems that Flo Espresso would rather be condescending and dismissive in their response. Perhaps don’t sell products you can’t make a profit from. My bad for not reading the tiny sign, I had my baby with me and was on my way to an appointment. Flo is very close to home for me, so it’s disappointing that my experience...
