Hungry Jack's Burgers Albany — Restaurant in Western Australia

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at HJs. I appreciate that it was busy, so the half hour wait for my food wasn't a problem. It was after we realised that 2 items on the menu were missing and had to go back in to request them and it took a disgusting amount of time. I had to pay for yet another burger, still not getting the 2 items I'd already paid for, and the manager and staff member behind the counter were so rude. I had to say FIVE TIMES that I was waiting for 2 items I'd paid for, and had to watch this staff member huff out an "I dunno" when the manager came back to ask "what does she want now?" So I had to explain, at this point quite frustrated, that I'm STILL waiting for what I originally ordered. The manager was disgustingly rude, condescending, and made it an absolute nightmare for me to get literally 2 items I'd already paid for. I've been going to this HJs since high school, and while the manager has always been rude and condescending, this kind of service was outrageous. Albany...

I am finally fed up of not getting what I paid for here!! No salt on chips, even though I asked the "manager" "Carolyn" before I took them from her, she said there was salt - WRONG! The frozen coke I ordered was half full (see photo taken immediately after leaving drive-thru, before taking a single sip). When I called & told "Carolyn" of this she informed me (rather rudely) that "frozen drinks do that, that's what I should expect". Rubbish!!! I've never heard that excuse, it's Not good enough!! If you're going to give me half a drink then don't charge me for a full one!! Chips have the same issue: not filled properly! I don't like complaining in a review but feel it's necessary after speaking to "manager" "Carolyn" who was not easy to talk to, I had to argue to get replacements. I have been attending HJ's Albany for at least 20 years. My favourite hamburger place. Sad to not get coffee, eg cleaning, broke down, do not make it at this time... Plus today! Just after 7am. No answer at the drive thru. Waited and waited..no sound..then we decided it must be turned off. So we were happy to drive to the 'next' window. Waiting..waiting so knocked on the window. Ignored? One person busy. Must be someone else? Knocked again and again. Completely ignored. Then we were told, in no uncertain terms that only one person to do the orders for both. We had to be patient at the drive thru. Then.. Have a good Day'. Glass doors shut! So my husband said 'I suppose we have to drive around again? ' No, are you kidding? We went to Macdonalds.
