Little C's Mt Hawthorn — Restaurant in Western Australia

I have lived close to the Mezz for many years and there was a couple of years when this store was putting out great pizzas, but as the years wore on the pizzas were clearly resting on their laurels.

Consistently churning out undercooked and poorly cut pizzas… you may snigger and think this bloke is basic and just wants pizza bases stiff as a board, but I assure you this is not the case.

There is traditional style pizza and then there is undercooked. Adequately cooking a pizza and subsequently cutting it through seems petty and insignificant, but these two basic factors take even a bad pizza into the middle ground.

So after blacklisting this pizza outlet for the last few years and swearing off their pizza for ever.. until recently, I met with friends at this location and begrudgingly agreed to order from Little C’s.

On that occasion I was pleasantly surprised, we all agreed there had been substantial improvement. I later learned that the store was under new management.

This lead me to elect to make a pick-up order from there this evening… unfortunately I was once again let down.

When ordering I was informed about a 10-15 minute wait, (great not a problem) I said to the staff member that I was in no rush and that I’d prefer the pizza to be cooked than undercooked.

Unfortunately tonight’s pizza was undercooked and poorly cut..

I feel these pizzas have always had great quality ingredients, recipes and the makings of good pizza, like Jane’s Addiction, when done right is a sensational example, but is often let down by some basics.

Is it just a matter of slowing the oven down? Or turning it up? happy to know if I am in the minority but among my peers my thoughts are...

I visited Little Caesars in Leederville last week with an overseas visitor who wanted to taste Perth's best pizza. What a disappointment. The base of the pizza was like one I would expect to buy at a large supermarket chain, like cardboard and the topping was revolting. The visitor had one slice and couldn't eat anymore. My daughter commented on a bowl of pasta that was left sitting on a table outside - thought perhaps they weren't hungry. She ordered the carbonara and soon realised why the bowl was left. She couldn't eat hers either - poor quality.

I have since seen that Theo has separated from this establishment, however the signing still indicates that he is associated with it. I hope his other businesses don't suffer because of this bad example. This is one pizza outlet I will never visit again - a big waste of money.

Absolute disgusting, arrived at 7.30pm for dinner Monday night after travelling more than an hour as the other store doesn't do the Flaming lips.

Arrive to be told only takeaway is available. Meanwhile the internet displays Dine-in and take away store closing at 9pm. The Facebook page displays the incorrect address, so the travel from two rocks was a mission to the incorrect location than to a location we couldn't dine in.

I would have understood if the time of dine in was displayed as other restaurants have.

It has left me very frustrated and annoyed and cold.

Two staff members were very rude and disrespectful and had the I don't care attitude and advised me I have to do the till at 7.45 so I can leave by 9pm on the dot and almost...
