Lobby Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

I never put a bad review for anyplace, but the experience was terrible here, so decided to put this. I went there on 24/5/23 at just before 13:00. I ordered coffee and cookies to have at the premise. There was another staff standing in front of a coffee machine, so I believe she heard the order. There was no one before and after me, but my coffee did not come out after 10mins. While I was waiting the coffee, the staff took my order had gone somewhere, and other staff was chatting with a man(hopefully he is not a staff member) and she had no move for making coffee. I asked to the staff who was at the coffee machine to refund money for the coffee and cookies as she was not making my coffee, and returned the cookies (which were in a bag) to her. She asked me “why?”, and I said you never make my coffee. And she said “you didn’t order to me, and the staff took your order didn’t tell me.” No apologise, she passed the bag of cookies to the person who she was chatting with, and then gave me money (cash) back which was short than I paid for because of card payment. It’s very small area for the cafe in the lobby, so if I were her, I’d check the customer or other staff if the customers seemed waiting for drinks, and making sure there are any mistake happening. I would wait to give the cookies which I returned to anyone until the customer leave there. And even tho it’s not your mistake, you work as a team, so you could say sorry or anything to the customer have bad experience and wasting their time? Don’t need to be rude to the customer.

I’ve been there more than 10 times, but from the first, this cafe is not my favourite, but the location is good and their sweets are good, so I went there. but now I decide never going back there again and ask my friends...

Worst experience ever! I went there today lunch time to order long black with honey. Girl with curly and orange hair took my order. I got my coffee and went to use the bathroom, on the way back I sipped my coffee and I didn’t tasted honey at all. So I went back and asked: “Can you please add little bit more honey to my coffee?” and she said: “NO, I already added enough honey for you!” I said: “excuse me?” And she goes: “you can stir it!” And I asked: “you didn’t stir it for me?” Then she goes: “You can stir it your own!” I said: “With what I’m gonna stir it? You didn’t even gave me anything to stir it with??” And she is pointing on the other side that I can grab spoon myself..I was just looking her and I didn’t even know what to say because this behaviour was just unexpected. So I’m trying to go to the other side, there was like 5,6 people standing there and space was small also I was with pram and my baby was sleeping so I was just standing and waiting people to leave so I could grab a spoon to stir my coffee..and all this time she didn’t even tried to help me and still couldn’t give me a spoon..while I was there another worker with dark hair walked in I guess her shift started, she straight away helped me and asked do I have enough honey and if everything is okay. Obviously she heard what happened..I’m still upset about the waitress and her attitude. She...

We recently visited this coffee shop and got take-away food and coffee, and everything was great. The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee was rich and flavourful.

What truly made the experience stand out was the staff – they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, making us feel valued as customers. It’s clear that they care about both their product and their service.
