Boy what a brilliant surprise we had on Sunday at Mister Walker Restaurant. We booked the family in to this lovely Restaurant for lunch and from the moment we walked in we were most impressed for many reasons This first class facility certainly knocked our socks off we loved the place. The staff were super efficient and very friendly they just couldn’t do enough for us . The lovely lady looking after our table was fantastic she ensured we all had drinks to start with and knew the specials for the day. Then she suggested what the children might like for lunch based on her experience. Pleased to say all of the children just loved there meals which is very unusual The adults started our adventure with a shared Butchers Board which was to die for just sensational. Our mains consisted of grilled snapper Spanish Mackerel spicy octopus pasta pulled brisket etc etc and some beautiful vegetables and an array of delicious salads and of course double roasted potatoes. Truely the quality of food was a treat. The atmosphere was amazing everyone was talkative and happy enjoying the first class food not only at our table but all surrounding tables The spectacular location is second to none and just tops off what we consider to be one of the best lunches we have had. Customer service wise the staff needed to take a bow they were exceptional and helped make our celebrations unforgettable Value for money wise it’s unbeatable, quality food serviced with a minimum of fuss Don’t miss out folks come try this little gem and also enjoy the beautiful surroundings Cheers

Came here on a Thursday night for my friend’s bachelorette party. Our party embarked on a culinary escapade that felt like dining in a shadowy labyrinth with a playlist straight out of a discount music store. The dim lighting turned our main meal into a guessing game - a culinary adventure where identifying each bite was as challenging as solving a Rubik's Cube blindfolded. As we waited between dishes, time seemed to stretch into eternity. Two and a half hours from appetizers to desserts - it was like dining in a time warp where the laws of culinary physics had been suspended, leaving us floating in a sea of anticipation. While the food may have been a bit of a letdown in the taste department, the breathtaking view and the delightful company of our bachelorette party shone like beacons in the night. Three stars for the stellar scenery and the wonderful camaraderie - the true highlights of our evening. Mister Walker may not have earned top marks in the culinary arena, but it certainly delivered an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, and shared memories. Here's to dining adventures that keep you on your toes and leave you craving both better lighting and a more savory meal!

Decided to come here with family, in a group of 5. We called first and were able to hold an outdoor table on the jetty on a Saturday morning at 9.30am. Each of us ordering various breakfasts including the 3 cheese omelette, free range eggs, tomato's and bacon. You do have to buy your sides separate to the main which is basic but prices are very reasonable. The weather was slightly chilly with some wind but we were offered plenty of blankets for comfort and the service was amazing. Connor was our main server and he did not miss a beat getting us extra butter, sugar for our coffees and getting all our extra orders. The venue is quite quaint with a smallish indoor seating area that you need to book well in advance for and an outdoor area where you can walk in with tables for around 10 or so seated areas. The view is great facing the city. Parking can be difficult as it's a popular location. Overall everyone enjoyed the entire experience and the food and drinks were amazing - especially the coffee. Definitely coming back. Highly highly recommend one of the best breakfast experiences I have had.

The restaurant is located adjacent to the furry. Very gorgeous location. The restaurant really has stunning views opened out on to the river side. It's better to reserve a table before heading to the restaurant. The staff who attended us was very friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were very nice. It was really awesome to spend a peaceful time having food and enjoying the river view. We were even lucky to spot two dolphins swimming by and great beautiful brown jellyfish too. The only thing which I did not like was after finishing off when we stood beside the reception desk the person at the desk ignored us as if we didn't exist. We had to stay there for at least approx 10min to just pay our bill inspite of the fact that there was nobody waiting to pay and the reception desk for completely free. Ignoring the situation at the bill payment Rest all were superb and we enjoyed a lot. If you are looking for a budget friendly place then this place should be an option only. It's a bit expensive. Ferry travel is also a great way to reach this restaurant. 😊

07/12/24 - our first time trying this joint. It is my wife's company christmas function. So we had the set meal. Price is 95/person. For entree we got served ocean platter and the butchers board. Overall, the entree was probably the star for me. For mains, i choose porchetta, which is the pork belly. Taste wise, it's ok. It's not the best one i had. Soft partially, but towards the middle piece, it's a bit hard to chew. The combination with the prawn was ok. The red onion was tough. My wife had the smoked gochuchang lamb. Overall, it was just edible, and there was not much gochuchang to taste. Only a hint of the taste, so we believe it should not be called that. The safest choice would probably be the fish. For the dessert. I was a bit disappointed with our choice. Ricotta chocolate mousse and pistachio kulfi cheese cake. Both are not to our liking, and we did not finish it. The panacotta was the best among the 3. I guess the highlight was the view towards Swan River, hence why this place is so popular.

Mister Walker in South Perth, Australia, is a modern Australian restaurant located on the Mends Street jetty, overlooking the Perth skyline and Swan River. We took the ferry to get there in 8 minutes. The restaurant offers a variety of dining options throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a mix of light bites, share plates, and hearty mains, all designed to provide a memorable dining experience. We had the chicken wings, crunchy peanut butter chicken and the pumpkin and haloumi arancini for starters. We ate the pork belly and the boneless lamb for mains and finished with a very tasty desert: burnt orange sticky date. We ate dinner with the beautiful view of the sunset. Yes, it got chilly outside, thankfully they had blankets and heat lamps outside to keep us warm. We will for sure return next time we visit Perth South. Good job!
