So my mate and I rocked up to this place at 11:05 PM today (it’s 11:45 PM now) to check if they could serve any food. The guy at the counter said kitchen was closed to which my mate said if he could give anything, that would be great (pre cooked/ frozen etc). He was handed a bag of bread and hummus. We got home and I started eating it immediately, after about my 5th piece, I flipped it to realise there was blue fungus as pictured in the photo attached. I immediately called this place only to be met by a cold rude response saying “I told the guy we dint have anything” - but does that mean your serve us stake/rotten fungus infested food? No apologies or anything. He in fact rudely said come back and take your 10$. Like I give a dam about 10$. This attitude and 0 sympathies for people’s health is definitely something the community at large needs to know.

The food was beyond our expectations. We wanted to try an authentic shawarma but ended up having the best experience with everything. The ambience was really good, the shawarma was super succulent and the meat was extremely tender and juicy, the lamb Kafta had a good blend of all the spices. The rice served with Kafta had a really flavourful taste as well. Overall, the quantity served with each dish was really elaborate and mouthwatering. Please go for it if you want to taste the best in this cuisine. Also, there is a sheesha and a alfresco behind (for those who are interested). The vibe was really good.

Wow this place looks classy. Dark and warm with dark wood, leather and plush seats. While out the back is bright colourful. It's loud and lively when full of people. Booking is recommended. Opened till late. Parking is around the corner. 8am to 7pm paid ticket machine or further done the road. None out front. First time eating Middle Eastern / Lebanese food and great place to start. Huge size meals and tasty food. Sharing is recommended as it adds to the fun. Grilled prawns, chicken, lamb and beef, wraps, marinated, pickled or fresh, kebab sticks, fafel. Traditional fare in Perth.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a pleasant experience at this restaurant recently. I’m not sure if management has changed, but the prices have increased since our last visit, and the portions seem to be getting smaller.

Our group of six received our meals at different times; in fact, our entrees arrived along with our main dishes, and our youngest child’s food arrived 15 minutes later due to a mistake by the chef. The worst part was that the staff didn’t even apologize for the disorganized service.

We paid almost $150 for 2 adults and one kid,for a disappointing evening. Sorry, but we won’t be coming back.

Thank you for your response. I understand that prices haven’t changed recently, but unfortunately, this didn’t address the main concerns we had about our experience. Beyond the smaller portion sizes, the disorganized service was very disappointing. Our group received dishes at different times, our entrees arrived with the mains, and our youngest child’s meal came out 15 minutes later due to a mistake. Throughout this, neither the staff nor management offered an apology, and I noticed the same lack of acknowledgment in your response. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for...

The space is okay. The staff were okay. The food was bad: The bread and hummus were fine. The coriander potatoes were bland and oily but we ate them. The stuffed eggplant smelled like it was pickled in nail polish remover and tasted how I would imagine the same, could not eat. The olives were plump but also had the same bitter edge, ate a couple only. Only plate we enjoyed was the fried cauliflower, but even that was just 'good'. I did not take the leftovers home! Maybe if you love meat you'd have a better meal, but from what I could see you're pretty much getting a deconstructed kebab or a shwarma for the price of an expensive main. I will grant there were a few middle eastern patrons, so maybe it's just my taste buds (but I did eat extensively in both Palestine and Turkey, so I think I like the cuisine generally!). We'll stick to Tagine Tapas and Grill just...
