My housemates and I continue to be disappointed with this particular store. Poor customer service is high on our list of disappointments. Several times we have walked into the store and walked past the staff who are sitting out the front talking and eating. After we have waited inside for a minute or so, they decide to join us. Having finally been honoured with their presence we then have to watch them serve substandard dishes and half-fill the burrito bowls. Occasionally they run out of a particular food (eg. Guacamole) and instead of going to get more from out the back, they scrape half a teaspoon worth from the sides and think this is sufficient to still charge us extra. Finally, we then have to double check they've charged us correctly because we are tired of being charged incorrect prices. This has been a constant state of affairs every time we visit over the past 2 years. We keep saying "lets not go back there" , but after a few months pass, our memories fade and we begin craving a burrito, we wander into the store and pass the staff on our way in and do it all over again. It's like a bad boyfriend/girlfriend who treats you poorly but you give them another chance and another chance thinking they will change but they never do. Read moreFirst time I came here was 15 mins before it closed. The person serving us was cleaning the food trays and made it pretty clear she was inconvenienced by our obnoxious patronage. She slapped together a burrito in about 26 seconds. I thought wow thats pretty average service but it was 15 minutes before they closed. Perhaps she had a bad day. I decided not to let it influence my future burrito acquisition. I returned tonight to see the doors closed an hour before they were set to close. When i pushed the door a delightful human ran out, and in less than polite terms said "we are closed we have no workers" and walked back off. Read moreI absolutely love zambreros and the food is amazing however the service at Subiaco leaves a lot to be desired. The staff regularly are rushing way too much resulting in so many mistakes to the point where it is extremely dangerous to people with allergies. The past 2 times I have been careless mistakes were made due to rushing from the staff, personally for someone who is anaphylactic to some foods, the staff to be making these mistakes is putting my life and others possibly at risk. Furthermore, it is evident that this is a lack of staff competency as on both occasions it was quiet with no people in queue so there was no need to be rushing.
