My friend and I stopped by the bakery yesterday for some brunch. We were served by Solomon who was very nice. While we were waiting for our food, we heard Solomon being berated by another customer about the Eftpos surcharge. He was very polite and professional, and explained the situation to her while apologising that there wasn’t much he could do. She wouldn’t listen, and was very condescending as she repeated that it was stupid and she shouldn’t have to pay it. She eventually got her coffee and left, and we had a chat with Solomon to make sure he was fine.

No worker deserves to be mindlessly berated like that, much less for something completely out of their control, but Solomon handled the situation well. The other worker (I missed her name) upsized the customer’s coffee at no cost, which I can understand from a ‘keep the customer happy’ perspective, but I can’t help wondering if that’s akin to feeding a barking dog a treat to keep it quiet- reinforcing negative behaviours is never...

The best Coffee and Pastry we’ve had lately!

My partner and I had such a lovely experience at this cozy coffee shop. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The customer service was exceptional — we had a great chat with the owner, Kaveh, whose passion for his craft really shines through. Sara, one of the staff members, was also incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

We ordered the Roma Margherita pizza, which was perfectly crisp and full of flavor — simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the Danish pastry, and it was a delightful treat with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was smooth and rich, pairing beautifully with everything.
